Between his excellent hair and the makeup, I was thinking more like Nick Rhodes.

this kid would've been knee deep in sexx 30 years ago.

My first thought is to be surprised that there's a DMV employee in existence who gives this many fucks about anything about their job.

Then you could throw a big birthday party or something. One of my friends, who never intends to marry, just spent thousands of dollars to rent a house with a pool to entertain all his friends for his 30th birthday. Everyone loved it and appreciated that he would go to such lengths to show us a good time. No one is

If you never get married, you are missing out. But then, people who get married are also missing out on being alone. Everyone is always "missing out". No one experiences everything. Lives are variable. THANK GOD.

Exactly. I started reading and:

THIS. Attending weddings is part of having relationships with other humans. I do not understand the fraught obsession some people have with attending weddings.

And I have been to church many times, but I'm still not Jesus, yet.

EVERYONE is a serial wedding guest before AND after they're married. How is this a thing to talk about? I can't tell if this is a "woe is me I'm not married yet" or a "I'm sick of paying for other people's weddings" or a "I'm so awkward that public gatherings make me uncomfortable" post, but if it's such a problem,

We have a saying at our house: Home is Where the Pants Aren't

May I suggest not wearing pants at all but perhaps some sort of loose, overalls based ensemble? Maybe with a couple accessories to make it pop?

Oh absolutely, guys get the short end of the stick on some things. Child custody issues? Women aren't automatically the better parent based upon biology - so sexist. Nope, women weren't born to stay at home and take care of the kiddos. The other thing that gets to me is Selective Service. As the mother of grown sons,

Clearly you've never read online MRA forums. Those dudes are fucking nuts.

I do pediatric sports medicine and some of my clients are on the autism spectrum. Seriously folks, they're just kids. I have a suspicion that a lot of people who are very afraid of autism haven't spent much time with people on the autism spectrum; humans often fear things that they don't totally understand.

Does this help? My brother sent me this ages ago and I definitely can't vouch for the numbers it uses, etc., as I haven't checked any of them out myself (and don't actually know the original source of the graphic), but... same basic idea.

I'm so angry, I don't know where to begin.

Beyond the ignorance, beyond the myopic selfishness, that is the most upsetting thing to me about parents who don't vaccinate over unfounded autism fears: they would, quite literally, rather have a dead child than a child that is not their idea of "perfect."
