Being salaried is by no means protection from being overworked. I recently walked away from a salary due to 80-100+ hour work weeks and a terrible working environment.

This article is some excellent food for thought for anyone currently deep in Dreams on PS4.

I received a small gothic style tictactoe board, about the size of the palm of my hand. Made even more badass because the pieces are all small human skulls.  Definitely a cool gift.

Retail management here too, though the major chain I work for 80-100 hour work weeks are pretty common all year around.  Corporations know the "legal loopholes" and they abuse the hell out of them.

Why bother issuing a warning...if these idiots can't figure out through logical sense that this is incredibly foolish and dangerous then let them rid themselves from this world.

Still way to young to have passed on. I haven’t been on an Xbox platform in years, but still appreciate the work he put in for the industry and the gaming community. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Seems to be a kneejerk witchhunt (shocker for the internet). Most doing exactly what they scream at others for doing, except on the other side of the fence. What happened to hearing everything from both parties, examing all possible evidence and then coming to conclusions?

I use the Internet Browser all the time on my PS4 for when I want in-depth information about a specific item, quest or enemy. If I’m really stuck, it has been a huge help in quickly looking up some hints on puzzles. After a play session, I also use it to plug in trophies I have earned to a stat-tracker website.

A new surfing game? I’m ready, I’m ready, I’m ready!

(I’m not ready)

Siouxsie And The Banshees! Yes, yes, yes! <3

I appreciate the advice! If I ever decide to get back into animation, I’m definitely going to do more legal backing behind payments...I grew tired of trying to get the rest of my money, which is one of the reasons why I ended up leaving it behind.

I’ve done, and still do, “conventional” art through painting,

We did settle on a price, but they ultimately only sent $75 of it. I’m definitely well aware of setting up an agreement ahead of time...I’ve done commission work with paintings, sculptures, etc. in the past. Animation was a new venture I wanted to explore...but eventually the exhaustion from trying to get the rest

No, there was an agreement made, but the Youtuber only ended up sending $75 of what was agreed upon.

No, there was an agreement made, but the Youtuber only ended up sending $75 of what was agreed upon. I didn’t mind the long days of work because at the time I was incredibly passionate about doing animations.

I have, and they were pretty great, but not something I’m interested in investing in or have the space for. Right now I have a PS4 Pro, PSVR and a Samsung KS8000 as my gaming setup...all of which I am absolutely thrilled with. Its ease of use is one of the greatest aspects for me.

After checking out Occulus and Vive,

This is pretty similar to when I was asked by a well-known Let’s Player on YouTube to do animations for them.

I started by just doing random animations to soundbites I liked from various bigger name YouTubers alongside original stuff while I was getting the feel for the animation software. Along the lines I was

I’ve put a good chunk of time in with PSVR on both the original PS4 and the PS4 Pro...I have to say the only real difference is a very slight increase in clarity and some lighting effects. Other than that, they both ran the same, running flawlessly in performance. I’d say the only hiccup is some minor tracking

Hooray for over-sensitive people digging deep to try and be offended by any and all things! They really help make things better.

As someone who has never ghosted but been ghosted on a few times, here’s a good reason to not do it: A strong desire to not be just a piece of shit human being. Grow a fucking spine, look the person in the eyes and let them know, talk it out. I find the “I just want to avoid an awkward situation” excuse to be utter

Excellent choice, Luke...one of my all time favourite soundtracks. Might be a bit obsessed with having every variant on vinyl, haha
