It must say something about me that I read everyone's comments about loving dining alone whilst reading blogs or books, and all I can think is, I wish I knew these people in real life so we could dine together and read our books in peace and ignore each other while simultaneously feeling less alone?

I used to be terrified of eating alone when my depression and anxiety were at their peaks because I thought everyone was looking at me and thinking that I was a massive loser.

I've never understood the idea that eating alone was creepy. I do it. I want to eat, and don't want to cook. What (aside from not being able to pay the bill) is stopping me from paying the price for good food made by other people?

While I do think that, in general, as a society, we're missing out on a lot of aspects of "community", I say that knowing that that's something for other people, not me.

I absolutely love eating alone. Just me and my Kindle enjoyed some badass Thai food today for lunch. I would say I eat alone a lot becaues I work from home and keep a bizarre schedule, but truth is, even if I didn't, I'd still prefer it.

The other day, after several hours of moving/unpacking I took my bike out into my new(!) city and went to the bar, sat down, ate an appetizer and (most of) a main course and drank two margaritas and let me tell you, it was amazing. I brought a book, no one bothered me, and I didn't have to wait the usual 15 million

Me too!! And I'm reading this on my phone, derp.

when the fuck else am i going to read my blogs in damn peace?

I eat alone all the time, I don't get why some people are so afraid of it.

FALSE.

I am eating alone at a restaurant RIGHT NOW! Amazing...

What does it mean if you eat alone 100% of the time? I mean, just hypothetically speaking. Not from experience or anything.

It's like buses...

I haven't been to NY since I was too young to go to a museum dedicated to sex. I'm assuming you mean that Manhattan b/c I can't imagine something that amazing existing in Manhattan, KS.

I have to say that I think a penis, erect or flaccid, is pretty much the ugliest thing there is and couldn't be further from being a "work of art".

Male cats totally have penile spines. True science fact.

If you're open to dating to someone, does that mean you're open to someone exposing themselves to you randomly on the street? Men don't just send these when they've made contact with the woman and they're flirting, they randomly send them into the ether to anyone going around being female online. Some women don't

I'm sure the fact men haven't been taught to fear lady parts, while instead being repeatedly told they're are entitled to it has... nothing to do with it.

Well, I know people over 60 that drink their coffee with cream. And some with cream and sugar. And some 26-year-olds that drink their coffee black. What the hell difference does it make how old you are?

I know an even mix of people of all ages who drink their coffee every which way, but I think the one universal thing is that maybe 80% of those who drink it black are self-righteous about it. Nobody is impressed that you are a masochist, people!
