I happen to have sensitive skin, sebbhoric dermatitis, and rosacea. Sulfates can lead to itchiness and redness in my experience. So I do a variety of washes: sulfate free, co-wash and and occasional clarifying sulfate shampoo. To each his/her own! No one is better than anyone else! Hurrah!
INFP, probably also demisexual but heteroromantic cisfemale. CLOSE!
thank you for defining my own demisexuality, perfectly. I've always thought of it as "not being very stimulated visually" (as in even "hot" people don't turn me on without touch/connection) and "only feeling sexually attracted when emotionally connected"... i thought this was pretty normal for most though. Lots of my…
if only she produced songs like that instead of the Pop crap I've heard on the radio....
Can't they just have fried chicken on the menu all the time. Because it's delicious.
Or you could be a feminist.
i think what you actually might like is monogomy with a very introverted girlfriend. My bf and I are both super introverted and we spend plenty of time not interacting together. And when we do interact because neither is stealing the others energy, it's not draining at all.
Most often diagnosis is made to get insurance to pay for treatment. diagnosis doesn't have to be as stigmatizing and life ruining as it is.
Ugh. That is horrible! What an awful psychiatrist!!!
I am a marriage and family therapist, and while I would refer out to a psychiatrist for diagnosis of schizophrenia, there are cases where early diagnosis of schizophrenia is important- childhood onset schizophrenia has a much worse prognosis than later onset, so the basis behind treatment is finding medication and…
Whether or not she actually is/was diagnosed with schizophrenia, there are children under 13 diagnosed with childhood schizophrenia. whether that's ethical or not.
Don't be Jelly because 40% of us aren't lactose intolerant, and understand that milk comes in a variety of fat percentages at the grocery store.
First long term one was 4.5 years, had a few 2-3 months gigs, a 10 month awful waste of time, another 4 years that wasn't quite right, and now it's been 1.5 years in a relationship I'm 99% confident will be my last. When you're in the right one you just know.
Speaking as a psychotherapist and a person who has cut my father out of my life for basically being a worthless piece of shit, I 100% support my clients in choosing who they want or do not want in their lives and also support them if they change their mind later and help them work out how they feel about the…
True it does happen, but with schizophrenia, the symptoms are usually pretty severe and obvious to anyone, so even if the parent is in denial, i'm sure other kids/ their parents would see it or suspect it. Not too many children with schizophrenia have tons of friends to have sleepovers with, because they generally…
I've also visited Waukesha before so I thought the same thing. Plus, in that area, I would think parents would be ashamed/afraid of the diagnosis and maybe overly cautious, hence not letting her go to sleepovers.
What about the schizophrenic girls parents? I know a few childhood schizophrenics (as a MFT working in schools and day treatment) and none of their parents let their kid go to or have sleepovers, and when their kids do go on play dates the other child's parents are made well aware of the possible psychosis. And…
We would make good friends. I can see it now.
While i'm offended by this ad, I'm more offended that they took away the biofit bra a few years ago. I fit in a "normal" sized 36c, but the majority of their bras are just ill-fitting and uncomfortable, or ugly!
