Not an ad! We got a review copy of the camera, but that’s it. I’ve genuinely gotten more and more frustrated with my own GoPros over the years, and these are all my honest thoughts on the Insta360

It’s so interesting how all these studios and publishers like to claim “external factors” are what cause this, but rarely if ever actually detail said factors. If you’re laying off half of your employees, surely you’ve got enough time to explain what directly caused it, instead of waving your hands at some vague crap?
What’s wild is how many of these layoffs and poorly performing titles can largely be traced back to terrible, awful, no good management decisions.
It’s more about time spent at specific charge levels as well as the number of charge cycles and heat. Time spent fully drained and fully charged have an impact as well as heat generated by fast charging. Having overhead so that the battery is never truly at 100% will help but personally, I would take a pack with more…
His career, and a perfectly fine programme were forever changed because he was held to a standard to which most would not hold their politicians to.
If only Clarkson could exist soley on that show because I actually liked a lot of his car opinions.
For fucks sakes. Are you going to swing by the guys grave and take a piss on his headstone.
Police violence is ALWAYS excessive, but yeah...
While this is definitely a more sympathetic case for the cops than other situations where someone is killed, based on the write up, it sounds like an excessive use of violence by the police. And another example of why cops need better training and hiring policies need to focus on finding people who are able to better…
the very best I’ve experienced was in Germany with the Car2Go, it’s so perfect that I doubt it’s sustainable, you subscribe then pay as you rent the car directly from the street with so many options from people mover like the Smart to carrying some cargo with an X3 even some leisure ride with a Mini convertible
You mean the board who is completely beholden to him and has repeatedly failed to rein him in and protect the brand of the company? That board?
Musky is a POS. We should never forget that.
Because the stainless steel was only a finishing skin over composite with the DeLorean and Middle School Musk intends on building his stupertruck out of the stuff, including really thick body panels (I forget the measurement—3mm, maybe?—it was something absurd that made me laugh when I first read it).
The whole truck will need one. Can you imagine what repairing a dent in a stainless panel would cost?
Thank you for actual technical talk instead of Elon bad or Elon good.
Both springback and crumpling problems are the result of faster work hardening in stainless steel relative to carbon steel. The crumple zone thing is just a math problem. You can certainly account for decreased plastic energy dissipation in the structural design. But if boy wonder already had a product launch before…
It boggles my mind that people still believe this thing will get approved by the DOT and manufactured in any meaningful way. Why anyone would support meme lord douchbag Elon is beyond me.
It’s almost like Elon Musk is a dumbass with the intellectual depth of a 9 year old and only knows about stainless steel because it’s what the DeLorean from Back To the Future was made out of and it would be le epic bacon if his meme truck was made out of the same thing.
“Let the system deal with them”
The system doesn’t care; it has Black people to harass.
