This man needs a picture of himself staring intensely at a piece of fruit. That will complete the image.
My big problem with episodic gaming is also my big problem with American television - as it continues to develop, I'm afraid that it's going to run into the problem of a). A series going far longer than it should, and having its story meander into a pointless tangle in the name of further profit, or b). Being cut…
...weren't we talking about how episodic gaming was the future about 5 years ago...? Then look what happened.
That's because the Wii U has no killer software at the moment, and is feature-wise and hardware-wise still playing catchup to last gen. Not exactly a way to usher in a new generation with fanfare.
They've given it all the chance it can afford, unfortunately. I was wanting Sony to wait out until the next wave of AAA titles can hit, but they just can't afford it anymore. Their credit rating is now junk - meaning that they effectively cannot be loaned more money until they rebuild credit (which could take years).…
This is what we've all been saying for a year now. Once the new gen starts, you'll see the console market pick up again.
No, the reality is that neither the PS3 or the 360 have ANY time left. They're on life support, and the new generation needs to happen within the coming year. The Vita is draining Sony's coffers to the point where the PS4 launch is going to be problematic, so they may have to face the nuclear option with the Vita.
Rather than spending their money doing this, I think Sony should be consolidating their funds into the PS4 and figuring out how to cut the Vita out of the picture...
Candy-Girly Ball is gonna punch the SHIT out of you.
This article should be a subset of the greater topic "How Square Enix Screwed Up".
Wonder where all that "consoles are dead" talk from the "expert" analysts is gonna go now?
While this is an airline and it's a bit of a different story, there are lots of people in the US who are imposing "anti-kid" policies on restaurants, stores, and other businesses after a certain hour, because they're sick of parents bringing their babies with them or letting their small children run amok, rather than…
35 watts? Why are they so driven to keep the power draw low...?
...except it does function properly? What are you on about?
My question is: when in the hell will we know the TRUE specs on the Wii U's CPU and GPU, as well as that rumored GPGPU?
Not everybody has internet that can take a solid, uninterrupted 4.7GB update. This update REALLY should have been made available on a disc.
Even if they DO support 4k, little to no games will support 4k (hell, 1080p is gonna be new frontiers for the 360 and PS3), and few consumers are gonna have 4k sets into the next decade.
The reasoning for this is more of a technical problem - the processor architecture was the same on both the Gamecube and Wii, and so native playback was possible. With the Wii U, however, there's a new architecture...you can't just jam a square peg into a round hole. Emulation (which, to my knowledge, is only partial…
