I seem them facing against traffic occasionally. When they do that there is usually another cop a few hundred feet up ready to go out and nab the speeder or reckless driver.

It must be a "forbidden fruit" thing, as I can't see any other allure for riding a four-wheeler ATV on the street like we see in this video and the NYC attack controversy. There's a lot of more fun places to ride an ATV if you're not actively trying to be a douche.

This is the very definition of morbid curiosity. Everything that I've ever seen by Mansory is horrendous; the only company that surpasses them for sheer levels of absolute shit is (was?) Gemballa.
