@Stuart Bradley Newsom: Sort of. The Kinect is an infrared camera. It has emitters on the base. It simulates depth by the intensity of the reflected infrared light. Because it doesn't rely on visible, it doesn't care about skin color to some extent. Black will not have as much intensity as white in the infrared…

So Kinect is the first system that can track black people's faces? I wonder if they will share it with the rest of the world. Dark skinned people need face tracking too!
This is where the great plague will step in. Old people generally have a tough time with things like that. Even with modern medicine.
@nukee: Ding ding ding!
@ACRaven: I was unable to get through the monotony of the gameplay in the demo. I felt like all I was doing was running right and pushing punch. Also, he moved so damn slow! Does it get a little more varied?
This just shows how terrible GPL is as a license. It's too damn vague for the most part.
@Big_Honcho: I have always liked this aspect about the RE series. It forces a hard decision. Do I stay and fight, or do I run? You can't do both. And it adds a bit more realism. If you want to actually hit something with your gun, you don't run around while shooting it.

@Koztah: Sketchbook Pro looks pretty slick, and more professional, but I have never used it. ArtRage feels more like a fun toy. You can download a free trial of both!
I can already do everything this pen can do. A $20 seat of ArtRage.
I'd like a clarification on sloppy processing, and getting things wrong. My take on the article is they are using lower precision numbers, such as lower precision floats. Which means while yes your numbers won't be as accurate, if you design your code right you can reduce round off errors. Most people don't need 16…
@MonkeyBiz: Annoying comment of haste.
@Mmm: I agree and support your comment. Exactly what needed to be said. Thanks!
@TiltingMills: I didn't read your comment, but in my 5 years of commenting on Kotaku I believe I did a better job than you.
You have to let the boat air out. Anything like that inflatable boat usually has a warning on the box and the plastic that seals it. PVC plastic tends to give off a nasty smell for a short period of time due to the chemicals used in the manufacturing and packaging process. Similarly; the new car smell!
@Latias_On_Vox: Sounds like a WoW addict as well.
