@semajaral: Yes, but at the skill level Daigo plays at, it does matter. These guys are not only amazing, but the smallest detail can really make a difference. For normal humans, it really doesn't matter.

If they had set up a wall to the persons left, the guys could have held out 1 hand and used that to lock in their depth, and it would have been loads easier. Their biggest problem was moving left and right, when they should only be moving forward and backward.

I have stood in front of the Jaguar at ORNL, this picture is only one of SEVERAL rows of processing towers. These cabinets only hold motherboards with processors attached. The storage hard drives on the other side of the room, in equally large cabinets.
