Human Revolution is underrated? Really? Aside from an ending complaint, all I've heard is praise.

My rage, it boils at your comment!

And I think you're overestimating it!

And since when are we talking about the current generation? Exactly, we weren't. Also, "plenty", as in the minority, right? Lose the tunnel vision.

And yet, you can play games differently. For example, you could use your console as a social game machine and your computer as your solitary game machine. Your preferences for one could be completely opposite to the other. And so the situation wouldn't be similar.

Why exactly does it need to be admitted?

Why exactly does it need to be justified?

And you yourself are stuck in an imaginary world? I'm also keen to know where exactly I "bitched" and "moaned" toward you about any change, seen that what I'm commenting here on to you isn't about any change, but a clear divide in the customer base for games. But, hey, keep on pretending.

Ah, yes keep on pretending that every customer and customer group expect the exact same. I'm afraid it is you who's spreading nothing but stupidity.

Just because they share a commonality, doesn't change that they are different customers. You aren't selling six million copies to the same customer. There'll be a difference in what one customer will accept and what another customer will accept.

Because for a large part... they have different customers?

God damnit... now I'm in the mood to play Oni.

Why are individuals happy to give up their ability to repair their privately owned devices by condoning consoles that are less and less self repair friendly?

And then they say that gamers are good for nothing!

They aren't competing the moment a consumer has made a choice for a platform, if price difference was a reason to abandon the console, we wouldn't have had any consoles left at this point. Steam on the other hands keeps on competing within the platform after the choice that is made. Good ol' Games, GameFly, Amazon,

Always does that for me when I go to private view.

True, and they are even reasonably interesting and amusing to watch even when you don't own a Nintendo console.

It is a cultural difference. You can disregard that, but it'll remain. The whole uproar is there due to that cultural difference. Besides, competition is much of the cause for Steam to be cheap, I can clearly recall when sales where none existent on Steam. Xbox Live won't be competing with anyone for digital

I meant the Wii U.

No, they are competing on platform scale. Once you choose for a platform, they are no longer competing (until you purchase the other platform).
