New games are €45,- to €55,- at best at release on Steam, nor is Steam relevant in a discussion about Console gaming.

It would be clearer if you mentioned what part of my post would be referencing to that.

Extensive standing is just as unhealthy as extensive sitting! Variation is the spice of life. I tend to sit and stand when I play on my consoles and actually take breaks, because eye strain is another issue.

You could say the same for clothing or interior. I suppose people like to express themselves and pick devices that at the least don't disturb that expression.

Oh? Dragon's Crown art direction is a parody on general fantasy art and tropes. So it is just as much or as little a 'joke' as this.

There we go again...

Surely you aren't making that comment because the title is misleading? ;D

That's on and off, really. Some titles have an alright set of achievements, for say optional 'stuff' or a 'harder approach', they are rather common place. Then you also have to obligatory "you've reached this point in the game", which are pointless, at least to me.

Because people are selfish. That's really all there is to it. "I don't want that! So I am unable to see the validity for such an option!"

I admit that this is entirely conjecture; but, I'd reckon you'll keep both Film and Music content and work with both Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Xbox Live content will still work on the Xbox 360, but not with the Xbox One.

Neither am I only speaking of the chip, I'm well aware that there is more to it than that (Or could be part wise). They are that far in that it won't happen, regardless of cost, simply because production lines are most likely already running. That doesn't mean that it wasn't an option six months ago, regardless of

I think we can say for certain that, at least at this moment in time, it isn't feasible. Hence why I'd suggest hardware support! Knowing full well that that may and likely won't ever happen.

I know, but there is more than one road to Rome.

You know, I don't mind having to replay a game from the ground up. Admittedly, I'd love it if it did have a save transfer option and I don't think that that'll be the larger hurdle to overcome if or when backwards compatibility does come.

Oh yes, they are, but there was a total difference of between $200,- to $300,- dollars in production between the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 at the time. I don't think it'll be that severe this time around.

It is amusing how you have the audacity to fling around ignorance and idiot, yet wrote what you just wrote. Good, god. Go sit in the corner for a while, instead of throwing a tantrum at every possible turn.

So you're basing your whole argument on what, software emulation? Good on you, now come back when you've heard of hardware support. You know, exactly how it worked on the PlayStation 3 for PlayStation 2 titles.

Perhaps not, maybe my comment back came off more agitated than I intended. At this point I'm closest to getting a Wii U and I'm not exactly running to the store to get that.

You and me both, I'd love to get all the details on it, but for now I can only come to the conclusion that it wasn't a priority. As questions along the lines of why it didn't have backwards compatibility did get answered, albeit semi vaguely, to the press. And what I've gathered from sites like Eurogamer, Kotaku and

Haha, well didn't MS hope this would be the last console we'd need?! :D
