Totally agree. That action probably makes everyone less safe. You’re punishing a kid that didn’t want to mess up the school for his prank and quite possibly making a threat of him when he wasn’t before that.

I guess that’s the point...it can imply different things to different people. If you’re charged with keeping a school of children safe, I can see how one would read it a different way.

It is nothing...but I can see why they thought they needed to investigate it. The stupid part is that once the police cleared it the school should have too (clearly wasn’t meant as threat, but I could see how it could be taken as one).
