I own that Nike top in 2 different colors. It's pretty great, just saying.

I'm unreasonably happy to find that this happens to other people!!

Agreed! I’m not super into Halloween, so I don’t generally bother with a costume. This means I generally don’t go out on Halloween, and I'd never go to a costume party not in costume. People who go to themed events or events with dress codes and complain about the theme/dress code drive me nuts.

Yeah, if none of your friends like your S.O. it's a pretty big red flag. Either for your S.O. or your friend group.

I’m in my mid-20s, and I don’t really need to love my friends significant others, I just need to not actively dislike them. As long as you make some token effort to be friendly whenever we see each other and aren’t rude to my friend, I don’t really think it’s any of my business.

I don’t think I’ve ever worn underwear while working out? I’m not planning to rewear any attire after I work out in it, and I don’t particularly want an extra layer to sweat through. But I also go commando like 60% of the time in street clothing too, so maybe I’m just a weirdo.

This whole "Hillary is basically a Republican" talking point is such a false narrative. In the Senate, she has approximately a 90% shared voting record with Sanders. Bernie is more left than Hillary, for sure, but she's not actually all that conservative, at least based on her voting record.

This is a solid point! You're right the US also only counts absentee ballots if the margin is below a certain percentage.

I agree that neither of Sanders nor Clinton came out with a very direct statement. However, there’s a reason only O’Malley made a direct statement. Because he was asked to. These people are all politicians and they all have PR teams advising them on what to say. Either Clinton or Sanders making an unprompted formal

The general point of a retweet is to bring attention to the content of someone else’s tweet. It’s pretty clear in this case that she is endorsing/agreeing with her SC state director’s tweet, let’s not be obtuse.

I actually watched almost all 11 hours of it, and I'm in agreement with the OP. She did a pretty damn good job of making the Republicans on the committee look petty & rude without really losing her cool or directly attacking any of them.

I use prescription tretinoin.

I wouldn’t both with the OTC versions unless you absolutely can’t make it to a dermatologist. I use tretinoin currently and would recommend it, though I don’t know if there’s actually that much of a difference between different types of prescription retinoids, I think most people end up with whatever their

Retinoids & sunblock, aka things that science has pretty conclusively proven prevent signs of aging. :P

Pretty sure Condoleezza and Powell both used private email servers. Also, before the days of email, plenty of State Department correspondence did not initially go through official channels. The fixation on Hillary’s emails is a huge farce.

Yeah, a better comparison would be what she made for Crimson Peak vs. Tom Hiddleston, since they have fairly equal screen time & they're playing characters with pretty much equally importance to the plot.

In two weeks? That’s a pretty tight turn around to cast a main character in a large budget production. Most casting happens months before production begins for a reason- actors’ schedules can get booked out pretty far in advance.

Isn’t the rumour that they originally hire a South Asian actor to play Ejiofor’s role who ended up backing out last minute? I think they ended up having to recast like 2 weeks before production started.

Yup, I’m pretty sure men are only bad at picking up on hints when the hints are coming from women they are interested in.

Yeah, I’m all for pointing out how white Hollywood casting is, but in this case it seems like a little bit of a stretch. Is it better to have a movie set in the Golden Age of Hollywood with no POC characters or to have a movie set in the Gold Age of Hollywood where all the POC characters are maids & chauffeurs?
