Careful people.

It's...really not as simple as "not buy it if you don't like it". Hell, I've been sticking with the 360 since I've got one.

Give it up, webhead. By no means is that a lie, and posting the same incorrect information in every post doesn't make it any less wrong.

It was already confirmed by sony that Jack Tretton was referring to online play specifically when talking about DRM:

"The Online Pass program for PlayStation first-party games will not

You need to get informed cnandian spiderdude

I say go with what works. And, if the shoe fits, go ahead and wear it Cinderella.

If you are this big, mature, person, you could just not read the articles. Unless you need some sort of validation from the media to justify your purchases. Do you think this little hissy fit you are throwing will change things or make anyone agree with you?

Why does it matter that he's Australian? Maybe YOU need to get over the fact that not everyone shares your opinion. If you want to go rub yourself all over the Xbox One, go right ahead. Microsoft will enjoy watching that.

Considering I have no intention of buying a PS4 OR an X1, I'd AGAIN say your commentary is directly coming from your own ass. You must have an oxygen tank or something up there.

What are you talking about? Microsoft has been edging further and further in this direction for a long time. Maybe he didn't leave Microsoft, Microsoft left him.

Considering I don't own a PS3 and I DO own 2 360s, I'd say your comment needs to go back where your head is. In your ass.

Keep suckling at that Microsoft teet. Dude.

If giving up your rights to what is yours when you buy it as a consumer is a bitchy thing, then I guess I don't know what is right. Might as well steal the games eh?

Don't forget, though, Sony has cloud integration, too. Just not a required connection. If sometime down the line they put out a game that required a lot of server-side processing even for offline play, then i could see that game requiring a connection, since it needs the stream of data from the cloud processing in

Its as simple as a patch. This 24 hour check will not last long. They would have to hire a whole other country to provide enough customer service to deal with the shit storm of confusion and anger about this. It wouldnt be the first time a company has tried to do something stupid, retcon'd it, and had it forgotten.

Pretty much guaranteed day one hacking of the service just to prove a point.

Yep!

I feel like hackers will come along and disrupt the servers so no one can play, and then post online "See what happens when you make online connection a requirement?"

So true :)

Ok Microsoft, thanks for making it so easy for millions of your customers.

Get it folks? don't buy it, lets all just go to PS4 where we can play offline.

Let the mass exodus of 360 owners begin...!

I don't think the gryphon is going to flash its boobs at you.
