I came back to this thread because I can never sleep after a show and this is all so damned funny. Your righteous indignation is very amusing.

The manual has a blank page to fold and put under the machine now.

At least Vann has the excuse that he’s an orphan. Sure, an open vest and armored leggings isn’t very practical in the desert, but maybe that’s just all he can affoard.

This is, like, the defining argument of the Internet age. This will be shown to school kids in history classes in 200 years to show how we lived.

I'm sorry, but where are the numbers to back any of this up? I see just as much noise from fans of Microsoft's products as I do Sony's. Quick hop onto IGN's comments section you'll even see Nintendo fans rallying behind Nintendo's banner just as quick to defend and attack. Some of my friends in the media who have even

Those are some huge rose colored glasses you have on. Or heavy bias, whichever you prefer. Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, and PC gamers all have their share of idiotic rabid fanboys. In more or less equal measure. If you think one stands out, you're either spending too much time in their domain or you have the

Now playing

But, microsoft does this sort of thing as well, only they pay for it to be on TV...

The world from the view of one of the biggest MS fanboys around (yes you Docsuess): "Sony are mean for pointing out you can publish your game on any platform before theirs"

Interesting. I think it is important to call out your competitors on their bullshit if you intend to be a positive force in your particular industry. When it gets petty.. Sure it is ugly.. But when its a pretty legit issue and it would benefit the rest of us for something to change I'm glad Sony isn't so concerned

Why are you bashing Sony every chance you get? Just don't open Sony articles if they infuriate you so much. Jesus Christ.

It seems more to me like Sony is simply using the current market state to their advantage. Which isn't to say that they still shouldn't change the focus of their messaging since it obviously encourages this sort of behavior, but still. Credit where it's due. The community needs much more than a marketing shift in

I find it humorous that You of all people try to say Sony fans are the worse of them all, when you a dedicated Sony hater are sitting here trying to convince everyone of how horrible Sony is.

I couldn't disagree with you more. A lot of companies do take shots at each other, albeit usually in a more subtle manner. Then you have those, like Sony, that step out and do this type of stuff in the open.

Doc you have done it! I have finally been converted by one of your posts to be a life long Sony hater. You've convinced me to see the light, oh how could I have been so foolish before? This Japanese electronics company is surely the root of all evil!

I love how Sony takes pot shots like this. This is a competition after all. It also reminds me of the old school Sega vs Nintendo campaign of the early 90s. All is fair...

Maybe this will force MS to change for the better. Yah know, like it did last time. There's no two ways about it, their policy is dumber than sony's.

Where as I don't think people should be sucker punching eachother at every conference, nor do I believe it is professional...when Sony challenges policies that are otherwise considered controversial, it only benefits the consumer. I honestly would rather not a ad campaign between the three companies as "We are great,

actually it's not unique at all. Nintendo has attacked Sony quite a bit actually.

That implies MS and Nintendo (Reggie especially) don't do it all the time.

Let's not act like Sony fanboys/girls, have some kind of monopoly on being horrible people on the internet.
