If consumers don't stop defending MS and other game companies and get on the side they should be on (gamers and consumers) this is going to be bad for us. All of us, regardless of what platform we choose to play on.

And it seems in every case, they're making the same assumptions as you: If something is bashed on the net but sells well, people must be lying. To which I say the same thing: The people bashing and the people buying could very well be two different groups with little intersection. There ARE people who play video

Sadly, this is at the console manufacturer level, not the publisher level (which is why Publishers are starting to bitch about this, too).

Kotaku is only stating whats true, hardly anyone knows what the 100% truth is with the new Xbox.

They say one thing, ask someone else to get clarity and they say something else, infact Phil Harrison during an interview on eurogamer had to come back and try and clarify what he said.

What site have you been reading? We skewer anyone and everyone.

ooohhhGAAAWD I can't wait for another fiery console internet war! It's been far too long since people have angrily yelled at each other about which slightly different computer box is better than the other and how websites love one but hate the other. Videogames have a great audience...

Mr. Totilo, I believe you have your next article here.

Jim Sterling is just boss, always love his stuff.

Is this the same guy? I don't know who this "totalbiscuit" is, but he's hilariously misinformed and/or unrealistically idealistic and optimistic that Microsoft would in any way, shape, or form pass any savings whatsoever on to the customers. They're the ones who charge for basic online gaming, something NOBODY else

DAYUM

I agree with this 1,000,000%

This is so spot on.

That was a good episode.

I liked Jim's angle. I never pushed used games over new at my game store, I let the customer make those choices. For my store to even exist it relied on the used profits, because we made fuckall on new games. I didn't mind selling new games, it was still a sale, maybe some trade in action and it meant another game in
