Thanks for the jump start. I'll formally start by learning the Hiragana and Katakana. Not sure when learning Kanji becomes viable, probably after I learn basic sentence structure and grammar (which you've done a great job introducing me to).

Just want to chime in, late though it may be, you've convinced me to take up learning the language now that I've got free time in the aftermath of the fall college semester. Time to start climbing the mountain.
Yes, and that's why I think she's a bitch.
That is absolutely hilarious
I'm a pretty mobile person so I'm usually not at home, laptops are definitely up my alley :p I've heard good things about the y500 besides the heat, so if it doesn't bother you it probably won't bother me (my old laptop used to get super hot to the point of the keyboard being too hot for me to rest my palms on)
on the go =! on transportation. On the go = away from home.
Which model do you have?
Solely for gaming, yeah this price range would be purely enthusiast. However, a laptop this powerful also fulfills a lot of other needs such as modeling, autoCAD, etc. that a student or very mobile worker can do without having to be at home. The price becomes worth it when you factor those in.
Single card I meant :p and yeah, the extra cost is for mobility which is a huge point for a lot of people. Building a gaming desktop and buying an ultrabook does not fit that need to game on the go. Not at all. People have many different lifestyles and portable gaming laptops have a viable market.
Depends on the crowd you hang with. My friends all carry laptops, we find it annoying and cumbersome to drag our desktops around.
Very true. The 780m is good enough to easily play many games at max though and is the best card out for laptops atm.
I'm actually considering the y500 w/SLI 750's but was worried it would get hot. Hmm...
Being able to play XIV ARR at max settings in any place with a plug is a great feeling yo.
Yep. Wait, I've seen your posts before. Why are you greyed?
MSI's laptops come with a manual fan button that you can activate at will to keep temps down. That and they generally don't overheat. You'll need to provide proof.
The GTX780m is the best card out for laptops currently.
Trolling is fun on occasion, yep.
Ha no worries mate, I know :p
As someone who has a PS4, I agree with you wholeheartedly. There are no compelling jRPGs aside from FF and KH announced for the system. WHERE ARE MY JRPGS. Or hell, Armored Core. Why are my gaming tastes so niche :(
It's really hard to tell sometimes.
