I was listening to NPR a few weeks ago and they interviewed Packard. Apparently he is bringing an iPad app version of CYOA out.

@njchessboy: You DO realize that Best Buy does not make anything they sell (I suppose except for store branded stuff, technically). Why hate on the store for something the product manufacturer sells?
@njchessboy: How does this have anything to do with Best Buy?
@Tordenflesk: Ok, well... compared to WHAT?
This is the kind of stuff that made me hold off from buying an Android. SO Sexy.
@Aaron Crabtree: Relative terms...
@Will Hoffert: I thought we wanted these tests to be based off of actual use?
@DennyCrane: I see what you did there. NICE.
@Return of DaOtter: Not that long. There's some hungry bacteria running around there in the gulf. 2-4 years, I'd say.
Is the "Professing Love and Lust" really an issue..? Wow.
DUM DUM DUUUUMMMM!
@OCEntertainment: Agreed. When you screw something up, no matter the rate, you should eat a little humble pie, especially when talking to the blogs and press services that called you on your errors in the first place.
@CamJN: I think you are right, and I think you and I might feel exactly the same way, but on opposite sides of it. For me, I don't get viruses. I don't put my system at that risk because I am a responsible user. Given that, to pick up and move and learn a new system, and convert files and give up things I do now would…
@Wwhat: Da details, man!
@CamJN: If your choice of OSs is dependent on virus threat level, you're doing something wrong.
@Maave: Broken link. Nothing there.
@Maave: I do. ;-P
@ignacio reyes: I suppose more specifically; why do you care if Google knows what websites you visit?
@theweakend: My point is, and to Euatos as well, this was an article about PC gaming (not to mean windows necessarily). So to crow about th benefits of an API that is used for such a minority of PC games is pointless. If you want to go into other platforms, lets include the Xbox360 in there too, all DirectX games.…
@Eulatos: IN other words all those games that are either old (albeit amazing, and complete with D3D code paths as default) or for platforms for which DX11 is a moot point and inapplicable. Nice.
