This is what I expected to be the one and only response to this post, but had to scroll so far down to find it!

Some of my friends have pickup trucks that they use to haul stuff... almost never. One of them is honest about it, calling it a lifestyle choice, or something like that.

When the market is full of SUV (really full of SUV), this advantage will be null.

Bruh..

They’re just like an SUV but not stupid.

I don’t get all the love for SUVs and pickups - they’re really ugly.

In the modern world, most places will cut you a deal to bring an appliance to your home, install it, and then take away the old one.

wagons no longer look like 1985 Volvo 240s.

What is the utility of a higher seating position? Unless you are driving a truck, you aren’t going to see over/through trucks.

This response feels so good.

This right here is why we don’t have sexy wagons any more. Everyone in America equates wagons to the Volvo bricks of the past and the woody wagons of the past. They are so much better looking now. And infinitely better than SUV’s. American wagons ruined wagons for America.

Yes. JLR and Alfa have a similar issue in that they have dynamically good cars with quality issues but they price them at the level of more consistent performers with better residuals (like BMW and Lexus). The used car prices on 2-3 years old Jags are astonishing.

Does JLR have this issue with all their cars? The price on the I-Pace is unbelievable.

Its a shame they wanted about 20k more for the wagons than the were worth.

Found the person who got so upset he didn’t read the rest of the guy’s comment!

You might have a point, except the NHTSA made the same comment 6 months ago. saying that they were still waiting after 18 months for a response from Tesla and pointed out that the 6 other companies they reached out to on the exact same issues had responded.

Take your damn star.

Maybe if you quit joking around and sent them serious questions they might respond?

This is the worst excuse I’ve ever heard.
