As a Gen Xer, I just want to point out that I was anti-Boomer way before it was cool.

Hot take: 10 years ago when I lived in Toronto, down the street from my place sat a decrepit 1985 Lotus Esprit S2; had no engine and the transmission was completely seized up. Guy wanted $2,500 for it. If I had the moneys, I would’ve totally bought and converted it to an EV. YES, YES I WOULD, FIGHT ME.

Now, this is an idea with status! Can we get them to spin?

Oh Jason, get over it. The Flex is clearly superior to just about anything else Ford puts out, but that’s not how things work. Yes, Ford should have done something epic with the concept (think of a new Flex on a skateboard EV chassis, putting an American surf wagon spin on VW’s supposedly-just-around-the-corner EV…
