I can feel the type "R" by buying a badge for $8.

Wait, I'd have to buy a Honda first. Nevermind.

Congratulations, you've been marketed for your demographic.

WTF are you talking about? Put it up against a previous transmission with the same engine and it's an improvement. I don't give a shit about how it compares to any other manufacturer.

Does the CVT have any advantages? Yes, over previous models, yes. Better mileage.

Funny. I had the same reaction to your post. Sounds like a hipster attitude toward pop music that sells millions.

This will sell. Just like all the other station wagons and SUVs across the world. No different. No surprise.

Not sure where you got that info. When they changed the Legacy 2.5 from a regular auto to CVT it gained quite a bit in MPG.

That equals a 5.4 second sprint to 60 in the six speed manual and 5.9 in the CVT. Yep, CVT wasn't a lie, it's true. There is a "sport sharp" setting for the CVT, which makes the CVT act like it has eight gears. Don't buy the CVT. Just don't. Thanks.

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but if Subaru's 0-60 time is accurate, then this will be slower than the outgoing car, which did it in 4.7 seconds in most tests. On the bright side, according to that spread in Car and Driver, the interior should be much improved as well.

The driver was arrested and charged with inflicting injury while driving. No word yet on whether he'll be charged with crimes against good taste for that bodykit.

Pinzgauers FTW.

Yeah. cool.

After laying out each of the 192 LEDs, they're arranged at 90-degree angles, half reflecting upward and half reflecting downward, and all of them with an additional reflector that shoots the light rearward. Lastly, a diffused inner lens is laid on top of all of them, which reduces the pixelation.

That's pretty much what it boils down to; cost. They want to have a finite baseline of competition to make it easier for teams who don't have billions for R&D. Granted, that money still = higher performance, but when you allow certain modifications that are extremely expensive to develop and use, you begin letting

I was thinking the same for my wife.

It's a 6 speed, but I wonder if it's a 6 speed with WRX quality components. Surely they aren't going to give you the bulletproof STI components.

I'm more interested in the "Launch Edition"... is that a product launch or a special feature? Hmm.

You can make a suppressor with a bottle or oil filter, but it doesn't mean it should be legal. I'm a gun advocate, and I think making the guns and using them is a really dumb idea. Not only for safety of other people, but when you see a real metal gun explode, you can't imagine what a plastic one would do.

It would have to without "hellaflush" BS or fender rolling. Besides, most states require you to have 6" between the bumper and the ground.

That's a more realistic interpretation of what it will look like. No way will the real STI actually come close to the fender wells or be that flush.

Pshh... laser disc, fool!
