The DLC (really just HoW, you can ignore Dark Below) didn’t expand the scale of the game as much as fix the gameplay so it didn’t feel like such a punishment sometimes.

Not knowing that half the episode would be about Jon’s mission and an awesome battle made even better (no previews, no spoilers, sometimes being away at a music festival and then sick for a few days is good).

I’d add Demolition Man to the mix. Although it had a lot of actiony movie sequences, the bits examining the future non-violent society are rife with almost fourth wall-breaking commentary on our violent movie culture. More geopolitical than deconstructive but still pretty cool.
