I work with several 30 year olds, whom I adore. This is definitely a part of their vernacular. I also have noticed I’m starting to use it, so I feel like I have to work on that. ;-)

To answer Kelly’s question, that arrangement can work, for awhile. Not necessarily a workable permanent solution, but it can be a good option for helping kids adjust to their parent’s divorce. I have seen it work for a couple of families.

Same here - I think the only video cams that were around when I was young and hot were the kind with the actual reels. And nobody even thought about doing that...at least not in the circles I was running in.

At “one time” had a child with? What happened?

The town is called Peebles. How could anything bad happen in a town with a name like that? Pretty horrifying - like a mob movie, only in Appalachia.

Don’t forget to wring your hands too!

Seeing them in Denver in September!!

My baby is 20 now, and I can no longer do those leg lift airplane things with her that we did when she was tiny and “helping” me lose the baby weight. The funny thing is, that at 50, I now weigh more than I did at 9 months pregnant. And I mostly don’t care. Mostly.

The shoes were amazing!!!

And I am so sick of this particular pose. I know I can avert my eyes, and I do, regularly, when I see THIS POSE on the FB pages of many of the young women I know who are in sororities (daughter, friends of daughter...). But this is a safe space, and I can say what I want.

I wonder how many times she asks a room full of boys the same question.

Oh RIGHT. But I think he still paid big in the divorce.

I swear JH and Mick got married at some point. No?

You finally have a place for your lipstick, driver’s license and credit card in those dresses. That’s what I would carry, and I’m sure these people do too. :-)

I’m woke af, but am not sure what it means.

Our parents didn’t exactly get us either. :-) As long as there is positive, forward motion in their lives, life is good.

Love this. (Sorry, no hater here.) Sometimes it’s worth taking advantage of what you have, when you have it...as long as you understand that it’s temporary.

How is that not a Title IX lawsuit by now?
