@Twonius: Comparing today's cars with the ones that were around 20 years ago is comparing apples to oranges, and I wasn't referring to that. I meant that a modern body-on-frame car would be sturdier and easier to repair than a modern unibody, just like their 80's and 90's counterparts were. After all, that is the main

@Twonius: Because it is sturdier and easier to repair if bent out of shape than a unibody.

Body-on-frame is still a good idea. Especially for PIT-maneuver performing police cruisers.

Am I the only one who sees a Citroen in these headlights??

The future looks really dim for this 599

@Matt White: Indeed, they use ventilated drum brakes.

@benmlee: I was referring to metal belt CVTs as well. But the Multitronic uses a chain instead of a metal belt, which makes it more efficient.

Awesome-sounding V8 police cruiser sounds awesome. Also, thumbs up for these guys.

And it still looks so damned cool....

I'd pay the $3500 for the 911 in the background. CP for this one, not because it is much, but because I believe it is nearly impossible to restore it to its original shape, given its rarity.

The Land Cruiser 70 is still not impressed.

Celica Supra maybe??

Obviously, that is not the video I intended to paste, but it won't let me delete it. This is the right one:

Go home kid before you get killed, and take your pantsy music with you. Self-educate on how to ride a bike. I'll give you a hint.

@benmlee: Chain driven (not belt driven) CVTs, like Audi's Multitronic, are not less efficient than torque converter automatics. Plus, I wouldn't bet on the longevity of an automatic that is constantly shifting through its nine gears, trying to find the right one each time.

What is the point of so many gears in an automatic transmission?? Why not going directly for a CVT??

What's wrong with visible screw heads?? Would it be better if the winglet was held in place by fire-causing glue, like in the 458??
