Planting turbos and their plumbing so close to the crumple zone of the car is still a very bad idea.
@1dollar93: I found it here, in Jalopnik. Just do a search for "Vorsprung durch badass". I don't know if there is a higher resolution version than 1024x768 though.
@OG_: Right, I totally missed that. I stand corrected.
@tardis454: Did any of these fine individuals bother to think what would happen if the van actually flipped over with 3 pepole sitting 10 feet above the ground?? Just wondering...
At least, they remembered to wire the rear brake lights back after the chop job. After all, safety first...
@Hart88: Was it?? I thought it was car guys that created GM, so that Mr. Whitacre now has a job, and a podium from which to proclaim that he is not a "car guy".
@OG_: It is that VW currently controls Porsche, not the other way around.
The lag between the direction change of the front wheels and the vehicle body response is simply amazing. As amazing as the way it immediately locks its front wheels in panic braking.
@MkV_GTI,would trade it for a LHD Altezza RS200: Sorry, my bad, I just can't delete the empty comment.
What about the exhaust fumes from the other cars?? I would certainly hate to be stuck in traffic in that car.
I just see the aesthetic destruction of a perfect car. Sorry, I may not know about art, but I know what I like.
@$kaycog: Extra points for the variable pitch propeller
This is obviously a drag strip car, why does it need ICE??
@ronmancvu: I'm not implying anything, this is why I thought it was done in all LeMons cars. After all, I've been off the market of round sealed beam headlights for quite some time...
@ronmancvu: Or maybe they just sold them, in order to increase the available budget. I think that this is allowed in LeMons.
