Awesome!! Thanks so much for the link & for the wonderful work your organization does! :)

Hey Rose213! Sorry for not writing back sooner. Those are awesome questions!

Hi Heygirlhey. Thanks for sharing your story, and I'm very sorry to hear all that. My vaginismus was also not caused by any trauma. I think, like me, that yours is probably just related to anxiety and fear.

I'm sorry to hear that. My first gynecologist was terrible and didn't even suggest to me the possibility of vaginismus, even though I literally had to be sedated to get a pap smear. So I was absolutely not comfortable talking to her about my issues, and I also didn't want to talk to my parents. If you can find a good,

Girl, I hear ya 100%!! Have you ever tried Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for your anxiety? I've found that to be a tremendous help for me. One of the big problems with anxiety is that you subconsciously train yourself to associate negative thoughts/feelings with certain situations, and it's difficult to break those

Reading all these comments, I'm getting mixed emotions about all the women suffering from this condition. On the one hand, it SUCKS that this is such a common problem! But on the other hand, it's great that we can all now share our stories & talk to each other. We shouldn't have to hide or feel ashamed!

I used my dilators once or twice a day for about 15 minutes each time. But just to be sure that you're doing what's best for you personally, ask your gynecologist what he/she recommends for you. Pay attention to your body when you are using it- it will be uncomfortable at first, but it shouldn't be extremely painful.

I'm sorry that you also have to deal with this condition. It's very tough, but you CAN take control of it!

Sorry to hear about your trauma, but that is awesome that yours was short-lived. I really don't know what "caused" my condition; I honestly think it's just related to my anxiety. I definitely think people need to discuss vaginismus more and be more open about it. I suffered for years before even knowing what the

Yay, thank you for this article. Vaginismus-sufferer here! I also have generalized anxiety disorder/panic disorder, and I've always described it to people as "my vagina also suffering from anxiety". But I have found it is definitely treatable. Not curable, in my case at least, but treatable nonetheless.

Oh I know. And I actually do believe this guy has Diphallia. But even from the beginning, I've gotten the feeling that he's lying about many, many of the things he says.

Thank you, Mark. I haven't read his book (and don't plan to), but even after his AMA, I felt the exact same way you do.

"Sometimes with a dick so incredibly pulsatingly hard that it hurts..."

She immediately covered her mouth, but if you look close you can see she's smiling. Then she turns her chair away, and when she swivels back again, her eye make up is still completely perfect. So I agree, super fake. And super stupid.

Haha that's what I thought! My friend described sex to me as "the hot dog going in the bun", so I thought bun = labia majora, and the penis just kind of slid through there. I didn't give sperm too much thought back then.

Ooh can we think of alternate meanings for SUR?? I'll start:

That's why you only get a fine for it, instead of points on your license.

That's a U Penn shirt, actually. But he should stay away from ALL colleges. And ALL people. Forever. Just go away, Bill.

Congrats on the impending new arrival! Yes, definitely film it... then share it with us!!

She is a pretty chill baby, plus she's already mastered the Fist Bump! I'm 30 and I'm still awkward when it comes to fist bumps.
