I never did this really, with one exception. My aunt gave me a hideous clown doll. That sucker was huge, and I was convinced it moved around while I was asleep. I refused to go to bed unless it was locked in my closet. A few years later, when I saw the same doll show up in the Poltergeist movie, I finally felt

If this is the one designed to not scare people, my mind boggles at the alternative.

I am glad I am not the only one who thought of that.

I've seen snakes and chickens beheaded. I ever saw a cow beheaded once in a freak accident. In all those cases, the bodies kept moving, eyes kept blinking, and mouths were moving for several seconds after the head was detached from the body. I don't know if you could call it living, however.

This is just regular theaters. There is one I go too sometimes that has a pretty strict policy about kids and such. It also has a full bar and menu too. It costs a little more to get in, but is worth every penny. They don't usually show the brand new releases tho. Every time I go to a regular theater tho, I end

There are very few movies I am willing to go see at the theater. It seems like every time I do, I get stuck by the douche who uses his phone all during the movie, or by the 8 year old that they allowed in to see a rated R horror film. Let's not forget those parents who think their crying baby isn't a total

I don't know if I would be part of that 60% or not. If I were tho, I can't imagine it having a beneficial effect on me. I would probably just turn completely to the dark side.

This is disappointing. Let me guess, they are going to work some karaoke into the show too. Sad.

I think if they do The Stand again, casting would be vital. The miniseries was good, with some fantastic actors in it, but it was made for TV so there was a lot they had to tone down, clean up, and make a little family friendly.

I now have my idea for next Halloween's costume!

@samarkand: My animals do some weird behaviors too. I don't know if I could attribute it to a superstitious belief or a routine, tho. I understand that the box and randomness would cut out the visual cues, routine, and a lot of other things that might make the birds behave in a certain way. I guess I am just not

@electric gravy boat: I agree. I am not going to be that person who tells anyone (or any bird) that their religion is a bunch of superstitious claptrap, however.

Pet birds (parrots, parakeets, etc) start acting weird if they get bored. They can pluck themselves bald, tear things up, and start doing all kinds of oddball things. How long were these pigeons in these boxes? The article linked says they lost quite a bit of weight so they must have been in there a few days at

I would probably like Spiderman's outfit a lot more if it were not for those shoes. They remind me of those swim socks that you see people wearing out at the lake. Maybe if they were even a different color it would not be so bad, but as it is, they are all I can seem to focus on.

That is pitiful. Why did they not kill it and put it out of it's misery yet?

I've seen folks fake having anxiety to be able to get things like xanax. Or fake having depression to be able to get various medications for whatever reason. All of these conditions are real, and most do need some kind of medication to help control symptoms. It is jerks who fake it that are making it hard for so

Well, my hopes for the Dark Tower movies are crushed.

This is insane and full of awesome! I am throwing a viewing party as soon as I get this on DVD.

@achmelvic: They are accounts of what is thought to be UFO activity. The original battle of LA was well documented.
