You make it sound like it is a bad thing to want to eat different things. If I push for different types of food, it is for a healthy lifestyle, not my own sense of superiority.

I had seafood for dinner. Now I feel slightly ill.
@RADICAL_DUDE_33: The first one is the slowest. It also sets the stage for the entire series tho. The plot really picks up in the second book. I don't know if you can really skip any of them. They all tie in together and build up from each other. Book 4 starts directly at the end of book 3, so if you skip one you…
@November Reign: Just wait. After this movie comes out, Renesmee will become the most popular baby name.
A sequel to Wizard of Oz? Please no.
They are finally getting around to casting the Dark Tower! That was a "squee" moment for me! Altho since I am a huge fan of the books, I just know I am going to be disappointed with just about everything to do with the movies.
I was amazed to find out this is actually a movie and not some goofy spoof commercial. I'll pass on this, thanks.
If I could get the things in pics 3 and 5 as good quality sculptures, I'd have them set out on my coffee table.
@I Think We're Property: I was wondering what part of a bug would be considered the meaty part. Or if there is a dark meat and white meat difference, like on a chicken.
I went to this! I have to say, it was all even better than it looks.
Well that's vaguely disappointing. I feel bad for the birds and all, but I was sort of hoping for the apocalypse. Yes, I know, death, flames, screaming, all that jazz, but still... it's a friggin apocalypse!
Squee! So much television goodness coming out! Maybe now I can stop watching reruns of documentaries about aliens in historical times.
@TwistedChimp: In the books, Sam was always the (more or less) stable one. I miss that Sam.
@raytheater: They have patterns you can get for various costumes. It should be fairly easy to find one for the gorilla part.
@GGTK7: I would SO wear a Frank hoodie!
Just because you can do something, does that mean you should?
@cortexiphansession: I think it is based on what you are used to eating. I grew up eating spicy foods (Cajun dad, southern mom, raised in Texas) so a lot of stuff doesn't faze me a bit. A friend came down from Michigan, thinking that Taco Bell was real Mexican food. I took him to a Jalisco place for lunch, and he…
Why would the aliens bother to invade our planet? Out of the entire universe, why would aliens choose to come and conquer/eat/strip mine/whatever our home? I can't help but think that mankind isn't that special.
@Golem100: I went to a theater that was showing all the movies, starting at 7am. Along with the movies, we got a full day's worth of "hobbit meals" with wines, ales, or drink of choice. I rolled out of there 12 hours later stuffed full and fairly tipsy. It was the best viewing of the LotR series ever!
This just made my morning!
