@Chris Braak: Wait, when did they ever really try? Movies made for SyFy were always all about the cheese.

@99TelepodProblems: I love this show! It is like watching the Three Stooges hunt ghosts. It is hilarious!

Coincidence?

@flink: If it were on HBO or another cable network that could work. If it were on one of the standard networks, they would have to cut out the sex, violence, and a lot of the weirdness that makes it into what it is.

I've never read the comics, but The Walking Dead quickly became my favorite show. So, since it is the end of the season, and will be a long time before the next ones air, should I read the comics? Or are the comics and shows so different that I would feel cheated by one or the other? I don't want to read them if it

I think my favorite moment was Darryl taking a swing at Rick with a string of dead squirrels. Then after he complains choke holds are illegal, he gets told, "File a complaint."

After the last episode, I won't be watching anymore. Too many characters I don't care about, and too many insane, complicated conspiracies that make no sense what so ever. At this point I would be cheering to see folks get shot in the face.

@FrankN.Stein: It could be the end of the world as we know it, and someone would have their picture made in front of the mushroom cloud, standing with one hip cocked out and a look on their face that is supposed to be sexy.

With all the beautifully lyric descriptions, I expected the characters in the book to come alive for me in a vivid way. Sadly that wasn't the case. They seemed more of an afterthought added to the scenery. I could not get into the story behind any of them. I think I prefer my books with a little less description

@TheAlmanac: Mine is at a church. Technically it isn't *in* the church, but in an out building the church uses for Sunday school and suppers, that sort of thing. Most of the polling places around here are the same way. I guess at least it is an easy way for people to find where to go.

Our memories and experiences in life make us who we are. If we start erasing all the bad stuff, how will we learn to be compassionate, caring, or even how to keep ourselves safe? If we erase those bad memories, what kind of people will we turn into? On the surface this seems like a good idea, but the longer I think

@Erik The Red: I'm looking forward to it as well. Hey, if nothing else, the effects should be cool.

@Fauxcused: Exactly! I either would have found something to use for defending myself, or run around aimlessly in a panic.

The show was fantastic. It has definitely made the must-see list. I think the creepiest part for me is when he finds the door saying "Don't open, dead inside.' When it starts to rattle and those long, dirty fingers reach through.... shudder. Then he walks through the dark stairwell. That is not something I think

@Batlife: Turn off the lights and ignore the little beggars! That is what I plan on doing, anyway.

I love the expression on the face of the guy wearing that Superman thing.

@Gilese: Agreed. I like the basic concept of the book, but at times it seems like the author writes things to show off her vocabulary rather than advance the plot.

I am pretty sure I am going to have nightmares about these pictures.
