I have no idea what my name would be. I've always heard it as the street you grew up on...but what about us military brats? So many streets to choose from! We also had a ton of pets growing up, so do I just pick one?

I'm 28 and that realization has just dawned on me in the last few years. I actually just had a talk with my dad about it the other day. He insists there's "someone out there just for me" and that I need to "keep looking" while I countered with, you know, it's okay if there's not. I'm still working on being 100%

I should have guessed! He invented so many things! Thanks for sharing that bit of trivia.

Hear, hear! :)

That's so cute! :)

I always wonder who though contact lenses were a good idea. They were invented before plastic, so they were originally made of glass. Why did they think it was a good idea to stick glass shards in your eyes??

Oh wow! Those teeth! What an amazing, beautiful animal! Thank you so much for sharing.

I would, too.

Reply to everyone: I did the butter/flour thing without cooking it. Turns out I shouldn't have been worried. It came out delicious, and now I feel there isn't enough sauce after all. :) I poured it over some rice seasoned with lime, then topped it with a little shredded cheddar jack. Freaking awesome. Best

Holy cow this is really good. It doesn't look great, but I poured it over rice (the extra sauce was perfect for this!) and topped it with a little cheddar jack. So good! I think I'm going to use the leftovers to make enchiladas or burritos tomorrow night.

OH MY GOD. I was not prepared for the cuteness!

It smells so good right now! Still got about a half hour to an hour to go...I'm going to shred the chicken soon. It doesn't look very appetizing...but I'll let you know how it turns out!

Masa is incredibly hard to find around here sometimes. I ordered some from Amazon to make my Christmas Eve tamales. :) Unfortunately, I gave the rest to my landlord, so I don't have anymore.

Thanks! I might try that. I also suck at making a roux. Well, I suck at cooking in general, but I'm trying.

That makes me feel a little better. I'll wait until I shred the chicken and see what it's like.

What are ways I can thicken up something I made in the slow cooker? I don't have any cornstarch, but I do have whole wheat flour. Would that work? For reference, I made this: http://rita-may-recipes.blogspot.com/2011/11/crock-pot-cream-cheese-chicken-chile.html

There's no point in stressing over Trivia. Either you know the answer, or you don't. Good luck! Maybe we'll see each other at the auditions! :)

I am! Good luck! Have you done the test before? I did a long time ago, and I think I did well, but I never got a call. I have to keep trying though, since being a contestant on Jeopardy! is on my bucket list.

Do you have a towel stuffed under the front door to try to prevent some of the smells coming in?

I have a Kindle! I'll check it out. Thanks!
