Reminds me of the drug testing lab who had a lazy employee that put dozens or maybe hundreds of innocent people in jail. How the fuck can we leave these life-changing tests in the hands of companies who hire the cheapest possible labor? Capitalism at it’s finest.

This is a public utility we are talking about, not just some company like a video store or a dry cleaners. And she was paying; she gave them $500 two days before. And they knew it was a matter of life and death. The people who shut off her electricity should be prosecuted.
