True - Leela seems to be a relatively attractive character in-universe. I mean Fry and Zap and that weird shape-shifting monster dude are all about Leela.

My favorite Ikea furniture was a bookshelf repurposed for a TV stand. Long and low with enough room in the big square cubbies for consoles/cable box/modem/router and plenty of other space for boxes filled with DVDs/games.

So was Family Guy, American Dad and the Simpsons, all of which are pretty directly critical of American culture. Fox has a different demographic from Fox News. It's all just pandering to their own respective demographics to make the most money.
Yeah, but that's not a country anymore, so you know, asterisk on that stat. Pfft.
Spot on. If they want screens for information-dense stuff, sure, go for it. But using touch-sensitive displays just invites people to look away from the road more and more. Buttons + voice control should work just fine.
The fact that there are seven upcoming shooters to get excited about makes me a little sad. I'll grant you No Man's Sky, but really, isn't the genre played out already?
Does it imply that though?
When I saw The Dark Knight Rises, I had brief moment of anxiety at the scene that was supposedly on when James Holmes started shooting his theater - I think it was the stock market scene... Anyway - it's statistically unlikely, but that doesn't make it impossible. It's terrifying to think of the possibility of being…
Honestly, it's a little amazing that stuff like that doesn't happen more often. Considering the U.S. is a pretty huge country that's just becoming more politically and ethnically divided and is probably the bullseye on many dart boards around the world, you'd think we'd constantly have shit happen at big events. But…
I first thought that shirt said "OBGYN"
judging by the picture, I assume PS3 owners cam get this too? Any idea how much it costs or how far back it goes?
One in a million shot, doc. One in a million shot.
Word. There are some impressive looking games at this year's E3, but I'm interested in playing very few of them. I can use less of the city-wide destruction/explosions/machine guns and more of the intelligent mature content.
I'm all for a new Mass Effect game - but I'm nervous it could be some kind of MMO persistent world junk. The scene with the seasons changing makes me think that could happen and that The Old Republic just led the way. Maybe the fact that The Old Republic pretty much failed would steer them away from that, but still...…
Who cares? I don't even remember the story in the first one - just amazing first-person parkouring.
It's been $60 for a while now, I'm just cheap when it comes to video games. I'm more likely to wait until it drops to $20 or $30 in six months to a year.
Option C: Wait and see. That's almost always my choice when it comes to dropping $60 on a video game.
I have Uncharted 1 and 2 but have only spent a couple hours playing 1. I got seriously bored with the action - is this something I should tough out to get to the better games or is the whole series this tedious? I'm just waiting to see what is so great about these.
alternate headline: "white girls get overly-harsh prison sentence - whaaaaat?"
These folks swam to downtown Atlanta through a soupy combination of heat and humidity in order to prove their dedication to their entertainment property of choice.
