"The 600 series had rubber skin, we spotted them easy. But these are new, they look human, sweat, bad breath, everything. Very hard to spot. Oh yeah- they have no junk either."

He looks a bit confused as to why he's in a box.
It's a bit more complicated than that arm-chair scientist.
Ah, what? Really?:
Yes. No one makes you read anything on the internet if you don't want to. He's either:
Former cancer patient here: No. No it is not.
Is there a link?
It's 2014! Where's my security robot that doubles as a vacuum cleaner!?!?
50/50? Really?
I highly recommend that book!
absolutely fascinating... and kind of terrifying at the same time.
I can understand the fascination with it, an animal with "human like" abilities... but yeah, I'm with you- they're terrifying. Something that's 1/3 my size but 3+ times stronger than I am... yeah, NO.
Usually when people think about chimps and the amazing things they do etc, it's from bred in captivity chimps, not wild chimps- which in itself is amazing that they have enough cognitive ability to be totally different vs their behavior in their natural environment.
they're also insanely strong- something like 3 1/2 times the strength of a 20-something human male in very good shape.... so when they tear apart those monkeys they hunt... it happens very quickly (I also imagine ripping off another chimps junk is done quickly as well... <SHUDDER>)
People always have this idea of what chimps are like, they're usually wrong about 99% of the time- they're kind of horrific creatures... they're like us, but with no inhibitions.
If anyone has not read Dresden Codak- I HIGHLY recomend it.
I'm always glad there's a knuckleballer out there in MLB... as an MLB fan though, watching one go 9 innings is a bit underwhelming.
That iPhone is beat when he needs to put a telephoto lens, or change his lens to anything else that isn't fixed.
If time travel does exist, you're assuming that our period in history is that interesting enough.
