The messed up part of all of that is that's the total program cost to produce 1 1/3 B-2 Stealth Bombers. We have 21 B-2's. SIGH.
As an American Lit nerd AND an NES nerd- THANK YOU for putting the link to the game!
Weren't Star Scream and cobra Commander voiced by the same actor? The guy that was a drug addict that committed suicide in the 90's?
I remember this movie when I was a kid. Mainly for the boobs.
I would also give you that thumbs up... if it were still available. Well at least I won't have to change all of my passwords again- MAYBE.
I really miss the old days when the government would do "science" to animals- seemingly for just hilarities-sake. Although that's probably to balance out the other stuff the government did- like secretly give people syphilis to see what would happen over a lifetime. Now a days the gov is just kinda inept at doing…
Why is Barbara Eden in that ship with Scorpious?
There are times when I really miss this show. Slow start, but once it built up and became the anti-feel good star trek- it was awesome.
whoa- weird. I know this guy, we went to art college together.
It's one of the rare Science Fiction books that has great mainstream acceptance as a great literary novel.
Now they just get you with constant bombardment of information desensitizing you to all of it.
@Smeagol92055: I know right? That was a nice modern "Capitan Kirk" moment eh?
@Wolfsheim: one of the most underrated movies of the 90's! Also that Sheen's best role of his career- ever (including the future).
@Smeagol92055: I also vote for this option; of giving drunken red necks F-18's. Oh and explosions- LOTS of them.
@lioneloconnor: as a side note: I would totally buy a Adm. Adama action figure with paint brush splatter hand actions.
I can't wait for CW's.. I mean SyFy's Teens in space... I mean Battlestar Teen... or... whatever- I want Stargate Universe back.
@Damob: I remember reading that when it came out a couple of years ago- it's one of the few journalistic articles that I truly remember. And since it's been a couple of years I wonder how it's all gone there- judging by the io9 article, about as well as I expected.
I guess I'm old school in I like my Aliens to look like the one in Alien (or Aliens, I can't decide)- but I suppose for a game, killing the same thing over and over again would get repetitive.
@crosis101: It also really bothered me because no one had heard of Miranda... you know, that giant honking planet in the system that should you should be able to see in the sky at night.
