The last time I had this feeling- was playing Mega Man 2 on the Wii.

What no Optiums Ax? Unimpressed....

For those not of the epic novel sort- The Elephant Vanishes is a good one.

wha? Cloud Atlas with bullet time... no...

damn... I know about 95% of these... which says a lot about my dubious movie tastes.

I do like the fact that The Walking Dead isn't following the comic verbatim, AND doing a great job. Keeps me guessing as to who will get eaten/shot.

@ShubNecktie: Those are rumble-words around these parts fella.

@elreyloco: Yeah- that made my thinking organ hurt.

@Jimmy_Jazz: INDEED- I did the demo, it's not that good. It's the high "pro" reviews syndrome, I wonder if reviewers even play the games. I reinstalled Civ 4.

I vaguely remember this when it came out- because even then it was touted as being better than the movie.

@Bigdamnhero: I'd see that- come on, guy getting hit in the crotch for 20 extreme minutes!

@Vundal: hmmm- it's more utilitarian, the doomsday signs aren't that.

@Pyroninja43: Boom! Best non-science-fiction-like-science-fiction-movie. The DVD extras are also totally worth watching.

As a guy who went to art school and has a graduate degree in it, this totally made me wet myself:

@rikarus: "so yeah we're totally created the first warp drive! Now let's see... I think sharp spikes and low creepy mood light will totally accent this place- OOOH, and sharp pointy Gothic arches too!"

I would pay graphic novel independent press prices x4 to have one of those.

@J_Frank_Parnell: Yeah I found Solaris to be the most alien-like alien, also HP Lovecraft (kinda technically aliens).
