Most of it I can see as frustration. He knew he did something wrong and he's competitive and he doesn't want to admit it. If a man was asking the question he probably would have been just as defensive.

At first glance, possibly. However, you get shot with a bullet proof vest on, it could still knock you out of commission: broken ribs, internal bleeding, extreme pain, you're just more likely to survive it. These aren't Sci-fi force fields.

Bad Kinja!

nope nope nope nope nope nope

Ironically, it's made the of-age women more valuable. Now, prize women's families get paid in the deal rather than having to offer dowries.

You know what protection is already in place? The fact that most states won't let you get an abortion after 20 weeks. Most people can't find out the sex of the baby until 20 weeks.

It makes me wonder if they will file charges against him. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I'd think it was bad timing: his contract was up and the football team was good so he gets an extension that can be torn up if they do press charges.

Without reading more about it (I'm lazy), my first thought is it's possible this was a union thing. This is a high school and the coaches tend to be teachers. Since he's only under investigation and no charges have yet been fired they might not have enough cause to fire him. His contract may have provisions in it

He was shaving his legs and wearing nylons to get inspired to write copy to target women when he fell and electrocuted himself. When he woke up he had super powers.

The pure line? Pureflow does I think, Pure connect doesn't, I don't think. I put the Pure connect on for the first time and felt like I was flying when I got on my toes.

definitely don't jump up to it, I do a lot of 10 k training runs, and a few 8 milers, the one week I increased my mileage by 10 miles my feet hurt so bad I could barely walk for a week.

No, the soles wear out and get holes in them, I put in a pretty hard 30+ miles a week on sidewalks/streets

I was sick at the beginning of this year, had pneumonia followed by coronavirus and missed a couple months of training, I'm just now getting back into it, I did my first training half marathon and my calves weren't sore (everything else was though).

yeah, that came in handy, I switched to a new line of shoes and used the same size as my old line and my feet were sliding around in them...thankfully they still let me return them after putting in 10 miles.

I don't know if you've tried it, but Brooks pure line is designed for minimalist running, i run with the pureconnect and have loved it so far, though I am considering trying out some new balance minumus (there's a new balance store where I work)

I can't imagine running in a shoe for more than half a year. Mine get holes in them if I wait that long.

The problem with saying that is that most shoes are designed for heel strikers, they have like 2 inches of heel support and it makes it very difficult to shift your strike point. I went to the brooks pureconnect and never looked back (finishline.com usually has great deals). They say the pure line only lasts about

just a word of caution, all that they look for in the stores when you run on the treadmill with a camera is to see if you over pronate. Most of the people I've had help me aren't trained and don't really know much.

I shifted to a fore foot stride and focus on my landing, body position, kicking the knees out, etc. From the first time you try it you feel like you're flying. for a couple of months my calves killed me, but my splits dropped dramatically.
