You're not missing much.
You're not missing much.
Reminds me of this time I went to happy hour at Chilis. My friend got trashed and started quoting "scent of a woman" to our waitress. The manager came over and asked us to leave saying: "This is a family restaurant" To which we replied: Then why are you selling $1 margaritas?
I'm sure there are already laws against selling it, I think the catch is people buying it will be less careful and aware of the laws, plus it would be easier to entrap them.
Yeah, my first thought was, is it only against the law to be caught buying it? Are they going to inspect every designer bag in NYC now?
"at least my knockoff says 'Prada,' yours says 'Prado!'"
They were having trouble making ends meet WHEN HER INCOME SUDDENLY STOPPED.
I don't know if they diagnosed it as HG but she was admitted for a couple weeks. She was on IVs and they eventually gave her a pic line and sent her home where she was bedridden for a few months. It was especially bad because it was multiples the think. She wasn't able to eat anything until the end of her second…
They made my wife take phenergan and ondansetron, neither seemed to really curb it.
Tangentially related...I'm kinda disturbed by how many religious anti-abortion ad campaigns there are on the drive to Western PA.
But that commercial is awful.
much like the infamous fugu
And churches don't have to pay taxes.
Some people try to point to the genesis bit with Onan (genesis 38:8-10), where Onan's brother dies and leaves his wife childless, so it became Onan's duty to knock up his sister-in-law with what would be his brother's child. Rather than do this, Onan had sex with her but practiced the POOT method of birth control…
That's the intent, I'm sure: to soften the blow. However, if someone said it to you and then said something that showed that they didn't really respect you at all, you could see it as tremendously insulting...more insulting than if they hadn't prefaced it at all.
The one place there needs to be state laws is the establishment of a militia and arsenal(s). Aside from that there needs to be better federal laws.
or With all due respect
Yeah, I'd been playing around on io9 and deadspin for a while. It's a bit of a pain to get used to, especially on mobile, but it's nice in it's own small way.
Yeah, but as other people have said it's like saying that slavery sucked, but look on the bright side, you got to travel across the atlantic for free.
blame them
This is true in some ways, but in others it should be handled on a federal level. For example (a hypothetical, since this is governed by federal law), someone buys an automatic weapon in one state that allows it and then carries it into a state that doesn't and guns a bunch of people down.
