I think it's different enough to be modern while keeping enough of the classic styling cues and overall shape to maintain appeal to current Mustang fans. Ford had to find a tough balance there and I think they've pulled it off.

Honestly, I've never understood why so many people get so upset at the idea of a minivan even when they have a kid or two. They're awesome daily shuttles with kids around. Ever deal with a car seat? WAY easier in a Siena.

They aren't as safe or as durable because they are made with too much "plastic". The misconception being that older, larger, heavier cars made with "more metal" are safer and last longer.
