We had the opposite problem in finding a car that I could afford for my 6'5" 17 year old son. Older cars are smaller and his daddy-long-legs frame would not fit in much of anything made before about 2010, which was beyond my budget. (Bought a Panther...)

What blows my mind is how huge so-called half ton pickups have

Cobb County homeowner/taxpayer here. If Tim Lee were to come to the door asking for my vote I would kick him in the nuts.

About halfway through E2.

Needs moar tortured metaphors.

Bitorrent client running now. Will watch in a few minutes.

Old man? I’m the same age as Mr. May. That ain’t old.

I got to drive a 2011 Aston Martin Rapide this afternoon. Nice bark from the V-12.

Cars are commodities. Once you realize you can buy the same car from any dealer you get a lot of power. When I bought my last new car, I had three local dealers making offers on the exact same car that was parked at one of the three dealers lots. I know this because I got the VIN on each of their offers. The best and

Got a 2016 370Z as a rental earlier this year. The driver’s seat was an exquisite torture device. My ass started hurting after about 10 minutes and I will always take the Camry the next time I get that choice.

I’ve done 1,5oo miles in the last seven days (and 500 just today) in my Subaru, about half of it towing a trailer and none of it felt at all epic. I don’t think the angst over whether or not one of my trailer wheels is going to fall off is the same as the exquisite anxiety of driving an unfixable car into a hostile

Neutral: Bought one for my 17 year old two weeks ago and the answer is always Panther. 2004 Grand Marquis.

I’ve never wanted a Fiat Panda.

I'm thinking the idle and blown oil cap are a symptom of low compression caused by bad rings. A compression test would be interesting.

So to summarize: The Ridgeline is terrific. But it isn’t terrible enough to be a truck.

Compression tester. Get one.

I want an autonomous car and I don’t. Even if the driving part of the equation works, I don’t trust GPS routing to get me exactly where I want to go. Also, I don’t always know my exact destination when I go out and have to rely on a good old fashioned Mk. 1 eyeball to do the finer navigation. A completely autonomous

For a weekend toy, I’d much rather spend $45,000 on a boat. Give me the Odyssey and a $2500 Miata all day long.

I know which one has been the most reliable. Hint: it’s Toyota.

We love our old Sienna. Super reliable, comfortable, and practical. Best road-tripping car we’ve ever had.

Riiiiigggghhhhht. Let’s see you go 150,000 trouble free miles in that bad boy...

Don’t let the van haters get you down. The Sienna rocks. Best van on the market. Vans are much better for kid hauling than any sedan anyway.

Tire technology may have a role here, too.
