The Trickster did NEED to be nerfed. Twisted Rounds basically blew up the damage charts in a really terrible way, and it was doable without any particular gear or character setup. Vastly overpowered compared to the rest of the classes for end-game activities, where other setups could compete but require a lot more

Technomancer is definitely the most “normal cover shooter”ish class. The idea is that you tend to stay remote, you get ‘normal’ powers like grenades, etc.

I love my Devastator, though. I have a level 25 Devastator and a level 7 Technomancer, and the Devastator is just stupid fun outside of a few boss battles.

It’s a great game, but I do think Technomancer is actually the worst solo class (with a couple exceptions).

For example, I built my Devastator to heal significantly whenever I jump at people. I also have a shotgun that fills about 20% of a shield bar every time I hit somebody with it. Basically, I have ludicrous

I always love these kinds of articles. And I’m always curious about how this actually works once we delve into it. Some stereotypes (domineering asian parents, for example) are stereotypes because they’re sometimes true - I had a higher amount of asian college friends with these kinds of parental relationships than my

I’ve played a fair bit of this multiplayer (demo and the full game) and while it works really well as a single-player game, it also works better as a multiplayer game.

I think that’s what they were aiming for, but when the servers are falling over because of too many players the whole thing kind of falls apart.

I’m pretty sure there’s two reasons for always-online:

1) DRM, as you stated
2) It keeps cheaters from creating items while offline and then playing online with others. From what I can tell, all your items and character state is stored online, so cheating is hard.

You could fix this with a single-player ONLY character

And here I’m having a problem playing it because it’s on a platform I’m never going to touch. Boo.

Once they resolve the online issues (hopefully soon - sounds like they just didn’t have the right capacity lined up) this is a blast.

I got to play for 3 hours last night on PC without any hiccups and had a lot of fun. Today I got kicked about 30 minutes in.

I suppose the “always-online” requirement is there so people

Wow. I might NEED that pc copy. As in, my life will not be complete without it.

Okay, can we make a Deux Ex game where the conspiracy turns out to be complete bullshit? Like, maybe you try and overthrow the government because of massive election fraud only to learn that none of the fraud actually happened and you’ve just been working with crazy people?

Or maybe the “conspiracy” is just the lying

Honestly, I kept my Steam pre-order and I’ll also play a class on the Series X.

Most of my friends with it are on Steam, but it plays differently (and on a big screen) on the Series X and I’ve got a couple friends to play with there, too. Cross-play is there, but more annoying.

I think a lot of people who bounce off it might be playing Technomancer.

It’s a more traditional class: Turrets, grenade, etc. And you regain health just by damaging enemies, so it’s a slower and less interesting game. Pyro is a little similar - it’s plays closer to other shooters.

Devastator and Trickster play very

Yep. Especially because my initial reaction was so unimpressed - the first couple missions didn’t really suck me in.

Since then I’ve completed the demo with half the classes and just love the Tank class.

As someone who both initially bounced off the Outriders demo and then came back to it with a vengeance, this is interesting news and I don’t know how to feel about it.

I’m hoping this didn’t come from a place of low sales, but I’m really happy it’ll get the additional players and views - especiallly since it’s

Weirdly, I’m using this an a reason to get back into Fallout ‘76. Played for a bit on release and thought it had some promise but wasn’t there yet. Wastelanders improved it a fair bit, adding a lot of stuff I wanted.

There’s another new story expansion out now, and I figure: What the hell, start a new character and go

It’s a good pile of games, though some of them (76, I think?) were already on gamepass.

Still, nice! Maybe I’ll finally play Old Blood. :)

I’ve been on their forums. Not that this matters, but there are significant portions of the playerbase that complain when a video that’s supposed to come out “on Friday” comes out at 5pm instead of noon. :)

I’m disappointed to hear it. Long-time backer, still enjoy checking in to see what new ridiculous and usually fun thing they put in the game.

I hope that this doesn’t happen again, but I’m glad that everyone got paid for it. But goddamn, I was calling my own texas employees and telling them to take time off and

Nope, it’s bad faith or at most, specious argumentation.

I mean:
Dems: Let’s get you some money and we’re working on it.
Trump + All Dems: Let’s get you $2000.
Republicans: Only $600 and we’re keeping it that way. Small amounts of meeping from Trump.
Dems: We want to get you $2000.
Dems: <Get Elected. Pass bill for $1400,

Twitter shitposting is a huge thing and incredibly depressing.
The discussion about $1400 v $2000 is almost always in bad faith (or just someone determined to find fault) and the entire discussion of total benefits under Trump v total benefits under Biden is just even worse bad faith, given that the Democrats were the
