That’s a fairly beautiful arrangement, actually. It makes me want to play the game more than I had. Huh.

It’s pretty different from the FF theme. It’s a harp walking up and down the scale, that’s it - what makes the FF theme unique is everything else going on, which isn’t included here.
Yes, but does the intro movie have a ridiculously ill-fitting but simultaneously awesome soundtrack like Tales of Zestiria? :)
I was planning on getting a PS5 at launch, mostly because I’ve done this for the last few console generations and Horizon, Miles Morales and others looked attractive. None of the launch games were must-gets, but that’s pretty normal for a launch. I signed up at multiple sites to get warnings of when the pre-orders…
Yeah. That one costume has some issues, but I haven’t seen it in the others yet. :/
You actually CAN do multiplayer for a large amount of the single-player missions. It’s a little weird and I haven’t tried it outside of a single test, but it works and you can do it.
I’m not sure what you mean. It really doesn’t feel like a MCU game - it feels like a comic book game, and done wonderfully well. It’s also very clearly NOT in the MCU universe, as the story starts off with the Avengers already established but that’s really it. It doesn’t require you to know anything about the heroes…
I don’t know - I’ve grown up seeing so many different incarnations of the characters that it just doesn’t matter at all - it’s just like having a different artist on the book, or the animated TV show has a different style, etc.
Maybe it’s different for folks who got familiar with Marvel only through the movies.
The Beta apparently was apparently not a good representation of the game - especially as you play further the characters differentiate a lot. But every character has the same base skills (punches, heavy attacks, ranged attacks) evolve through the use of skills and so on.
Iron Man plays very differently compared to the…
I really do like the single player campaign. Though for the love of god do not play it with Keyboard and Mouse. Dodging is a huge damn pain, and countering is hard.
But the characterization and story is just REALLY GOOD. The scene between Kamala and Bruce in the car just sells them both as people so well, and the…
I’m pretty sure this is going to shake out in much simpler ways.
If Mario 35 does well and keeps a healthy population, they’ll extend its life or release a new version with some improvements. As a free game they can do this easily and have a justification for taking it offline if they want to.
All-Stars will go back on…
Right there with you. I might even need more than one >_<
This seems relatively uninvasive - reminds me a little of how Fallout76, Anthem, and a few other games cosmetics worked: pretty standard for GaaS games.
This is good to hear. I pre-ordered months ago on the assumption that I’d enjoy the game even if I didn’t enjoy the Game As A Service model, which is basically what happened to Anthem for me. Anthem was fun, the post-game wasn’t great.
It sounds like they took the single-player seriously, which is fantastic. Looking…
I don’t think it’s that, though that’s also a good point.
What I’m saying is that BLM shouldn’t be on posters for the Biden Campaign the same way Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Gun Control groups or others shouldn’t be on the poster. They’re not part of Biden’s campaign and therefore aren’t on the campaign posters.
BLM…
I am amused by this, but I’m always amused by people who try and engage people through games. Still, it’s kind of clever in a weird way and won’t get any real traction.
But why would BLM be on a list of the Biden Campaign’s logos? It’s about as notable as gun control not being there, education, insurance improvements,…
You may want to reconsider? I think the writer missed some tutorials early on that explain exactly some of the issues they were having with understanding the system.
I’m not saying it’s simple, but the game does walk you through this stuff. It’s not hard to figure out how to proceed, either - one of the nice things…
I feel like you might have turned off the tutorials, where it does actually walk you through quite a bit of this stuff specifically mentioned in this review. Off the top of my head, there’s a few popup tutorials that happen in your first few combats.
A pretty clear explanation of how armor works and how it impacts…
Waiting until December 15th to re-release a 3pack of FFLegend1-3 is... weird. It can’t be hard to actually do, so it must just be to fill in revenue in an otherwise sparse period for Squeenix.
That said, definitely buying it once it’s out. Loved all three of those games.
This is all good news, but the ground texture on that Subnautica screenshot is... painful.
