By Jeremy Soule? Wow, okay. Checking that out.
...Yep, sounds like Jeremy Soule. Very nice. Like someone moved the FF6 soundtrack into Morrowind.

This, “Take Over” and “Life Will Change” are all stupidly good.
That entire soundtrack is amazing. In my own post I say that the entire ending sequence from FF6 is my bar-none favorite piece of music, but I really wish it was redone in orchestral instead of 16-bit midi.
This piano version is lovely, though - I spent a few months in my teens trying to learn piano to play this.…
Life Will Change has a permanent place on my workout music now. It’s really excellent.
Suicide Mission is also a strong contender.
I am sad that no one mentioned the ending for FF VI:
I’m not too concerned about whether or not Jin takes on modern sensibilities while navigating Feudal Japan, though I am concerned that he won’t be a compelling or interesting character.
I typically can’t even try to 100% open-world games. Even the best of them (like Horizon) tire me out, and to be perfectly honest I…
I bought this game on PC before it was done, when only the first quarter of the story was in place. Loved it so much I’m buying two collector’s editions for the Switch (one for me, one for a gift) and getting a digital copy so I can play it as soon as it releases rather than waiting for August.
The game is good enough…
Fo76 is pretty fun now, at least until you hit the end-game grind. “Free” is an excellent price for it :)
The most important question: When you’re doing a Braindance investigation, do you get to yell “ENHANCE”?
Takedown was the high point of the series, in my opinion. But Paradise and Revenge were also pretty excellent. :)
I didn’t even play the first one and I’m super excited about this.
I’m down with this. Though I think referring to the parent/head node as a “Master” isn’t necessarily wrong (I always thought of it like a Master/Apprentice or Director relationship), the ‘slave’ terminology has bugged me for years.
Oooooh, a Starhawk at :51 seconds.
Looks like this takes place shortly after the ROTJ. Looks good to me.
I’m down. Very down. May even have to hook my VR helmet back up again for my PC.
What has me unreasonably excited is that indication from early in the trailer that you can fnuck with power levels for engines, which is a nice touch. Not guaranteed, but I like it.
Yeah. My own thought was “It’s like someone tried to make modern art and took the wrong amount of LSD”.
Whoever made this either needed a lot more drugs or to be stone-cold sober.
I think I’m jaded because I keep thinking things like “I can already play games like this on my PC”.
But this is still cool! I’ll probably buy one.
I’m right there with you. I would VASTLY prefer that the game doesn’t have Hero/Villain units and just be troopers.
Having Vader show up is neat and all, it mostly just sucks as another player. Doing well, defending a position and then... bam. 1 or two heroes show up and you’re fucked, not much you can do about it…
I’m thinking about getting this, but I’m skeptical that my 3 and 5 year olds would be able to play any of it with me.
Which is too bad, because I spent huge amounts of time playing the included Mancala minigame in Quest for Glory 3 when I was a kid, and I’d love to get my children into it too. :)
Honestly, I’m just waiting for the Analogue Pocket, which is seriously just the prettiest micro console I can think of. And compatible with pretty much everything, and even plugs into the TV like a Switch:
Since the game gear kind of sucked in the U.S., I wonder if they’ll try to sell it here.
For $45, I’d totally buy one. Nintendo should do the same: A Game Boy Advance Micro 2, or something :P
