The Epic Game Store is the current cool thing to hate, in a similar way to Battlefront II on release or other similar games. Like those, it’s marred by a huge amount of misinformation and literally everything connected to the current object of the Two Minute Hate has to be attacked and taken in the worst possible

Nice to see this kind of idiot called out.

I meant Arch Warhammer, if it’s not clear.

Just popping in to say that while I get why some people aren’t enamored by Days Gone, it remains my favorite game of 2019 - and possibly 2018. It does a lot right.

The eyes and weather are one example of this. How your motorcycle is a key component of the game is another. And how the freakers are really dangerous in

Crypt of the Necrodancer is rhythm based but it... wasn’t super necessary for most characters? The monsters moved on that same beat, and moving on the beat kept your “combo” up which gave you more gold. And you don’t have to be too on the ball for the rhythm either.

But there were other characters you could unlock that

Well, holy crap. This is amazing. I’m in.

Sayrna sells the crafting materials, actually.

Likewise, you can access any of the store tabs from any merchant because it was more convenient. I guess they could make it harder to use the shops?

Really? In the Far Cry subreddit, most of the players are pretty pissed that they took your MC from Far Cry 5 (which already had to suffer a really disappointing ending) and then fucked them over AGAIN.

Honestly, the big problem right now is that the load times are super inconsistent: I sometimes get in with 30 seconds, occasionally at 2-3 minutes, and (exactly twice) 10-15 minutes. Not sure what happened with that- maybe a server hiccup.

But the game itself is quite fun and while in need of some QOL fixes (too many

“Rather than only track those achievements once the mission for them opens up, the game will now track them starting when the player hits level three, making it more likely that they’ll have already met a number of the requirements by the time they get to that point in the story.”

This might be worded incorrectly. The

Argh! Come on, this isn’t too hard. Make a pretty game where you can get in and out of a space ship, fly around, and do some simple on foot combat.

Hell, I’d be happy even with a retread of something like Empire At War. >_<

In this case, it might be pretty hard. Crosscode was written entirely in HTML5, and the Switch doesn’t have a HTML5 wrapper - or at least, one good enough to run the game.

If Nintendo (or someone else) writes one, porting it will be very easy. Otherwise, not going to happen.

Crosscode is one of my favorite games - I played through what was available when it hit early access and was very sad when I ran out of “story” to do. Now that it’s been released, I’ve been getting back into it.

It’s a thoughtful, fantastic game that’s well-written. The battle system is a lot of fun and has a large

Star Citizen has some phenomenal skies. Searching on the subreddit for “sunset” will get you some amazing screenshots, like this one:

I agree - I really like World of Light. It’s enjoyable, has a good amount of variety and some of the battles require thought or strategizing, and it lets you unlock characters.

Basically, for those of us who spend a decent amount of time travelling or without local friends to play it gives you a lot to do with the game

“since they’re just as good build quality wise”
Is that actually the case? My impression of 8bitDo is that they’re good but not perfect. From what I’ve heard of these, they’re fairly excellent.

Maybe that’s a small enough difference not to matter.

Sigh. I might understand the theory behind why (they want to encourage playing more games, so this technically creates an incentive to do so), but it’s just going to make me not use the points I’ve earned over the last few years. I barely use them as it is.

The inventory management mod is *exactly* what the game needs and I wish Bethesda basically incorporates this ASAP.

The others are exactly what mods are for. Hopefully these don’t cause any problems with Bethesda and they just let them exist.

You ranked Wild ARMs first.

This makes you a man of excellent taste.

Yep. Saw the exact same thing at Oracle OpenWorld last week, and this was especially interesting because the hotels were literally across the street from the convention center. You could hear chanting if you were outside the building.

It was generally very friendly, at least. Other than handing out flyers and chanting,

Interestingly, it’s half a space shooter and half not. When you ARE flying around, it’s a shooter... ish. You can literally stop and turn in place without issue and in some cases this is the best way to do things.

When you’re on a planet, it’s actually more of a 3rd person shooter. The individual pieces of it are a lot
