They wouldn’t join SSD missions? That’s actually super surprising - they’re some of the best Hero XP and rewards in the game. If you announce in global chat that you’re doing a SSD mission, you should almost always have a full party in a minute or two.

House Republicans: Displaying the research, erudition, and pop culture knowledge we’ve come to expect from theocratic rich old white dudes.

Maybe it’s just me, but are people really excited about this?

It’s cool that’s it’s prettier than my Xbone and all, but I haven’t even turned the machine on in over a year. I was even planning to pre-order anyway, until I looked at the Gamestop ad page and realized there was literally nothing I wanted to play, aside

I’ve been really enjoying this one over the past week or so. The combination of building, exploring, crafting and shooting just really clicks, especially in some of the more hectic fights.

The only major problem I’ve seen is that it’s super hard to get a high-rarity character of the type you want without spending

Here’s hoping they’ll eventually move one version or the other to Switch. :)

Yep. Bravely Default did the same thing. Made the game much better in general, and especially for grinding sessions.

FF-13 is much less interesting combat-wise than 12. But a lot of the ‘interest’ in 12 comes from setting up those strategies ahead of time. Once you’re in battle (especially in trash mob fights) you don’t really do a whole lot.

The boss fights and hunter missions require significantly more involvement. And you can

Doesn’t look like it. From the GOG page: “Other than the subtitle change, the game is identical to the game released in 2000.”

For all that I love all these games, I’m still bitter that the Radiant Historia remake isn’t on Switch instead. The original came out just as the DS was falling, and they’re doing the exact same thing for the remake. :(

I agree. I actually really liked the ending, especially as it had a clever twist of “It actually WAS a game the whole time” - but it essentially reveals something about your own empathy in your playstyle. That (in turn) has implications for the future of the human race in the Preyiverse. :)

The Orville looks like it’s worth watching one episode. Because 15 minutes in you’ll know if you hate whatever Seth McFarlane’s done this time, or whether it’s more than just a series of dumb jokes.

Anecdotally, I have a lot of Trek fan friends who think it has a lot of potential. <shrug>

Not really? I mean, all of those are AAA titles that released on multiple platforms and reviewed decently.

Just in terms of install base, they’re obviously going to sell more copies than Zelda or Mario Kart 8, just for example.

Not quite the same thing, right? In Kingdom Come, the Joker killed Lois Lane. In Injustive, the Joker tricked Superman into killing Lois Lane, who was pregnant with their child at the time.

The 2nd one is a bit more likely to screw up the Man of Steel.

Clearly you haven’t played enough of Conan: Exiles. Swingin’ Dong even WITHOUT sex scenes!

...Also, now I feel like “Swingin’ Dong” is a great name for a band.

He was? He bankrolled a completely external lawsuit because he didn’t like the journalistic outfit. That’s kind of scary - I don’t like ridiculous rich people targeting new outfits and getting them sued into oblivion over incidents that didn’t have anything to do with them.

My guess is that it’ll despawn when the cutscene with Ganon starts. Super interested to find out, though.

I signed up for EA Access specifically to demo Andromeda after hearing iffy things about it. I think EA Access will see a sharp uptick in its membership for a month or so. :)

I’m curious how that would be controlled, actually. I feel like it would need to have the controls completely reworked to be comfortable and simple.

Other RPGS have already done the “We’re all secretly androids” reveal. Though it would make a LOT of sense in this case. :)

Honestly, I never had a real issue with this. Didn’t use anything as bad as a Traveller’s Anything after the first couple hours, and generally I never have to worry about running out of weapons even before I’d expanded my inventory slots. You’re just constantly replacing a broken weapon, or throwing your nearly broken
