I can't recommend this enough. Their projects are invariably incredibly cool with a little bit of weirdness about them - in this case it's the slight technical hiccups, and in Dragon Commander's case it's that the RTS battles are a little janky. But both games ooze character, story, and fun. So buy this game.

I'd tie it for Wildstar and Banner Saga:

Banner Saga affected me in ways a game hasn't in a long time - I actually refused to play the game for awhile based on some of the decisions I'd made. I actually quit in the middle of a particular scene because I couldn't bear to see how it ended. I picked it up again a week

Banner Saga WAS pretty amazing, and I put a lot of time into it. Some of the decisions I made honestly bothered me, which is a great indicator of how much I was invested in the game's storyline.

But I'd also throw Wildstar into the ring for Best PC Game. It's pretty fantastic, and I think it'll hold my interest longer

Yep - can't argue with Donald Glover vs. the quality of the show. In order to combat that, they added several semi-recurring characters and that didn't always work. But I still enjoyed the 5th season much more than the 4th - I found myself fast-forwarding through a lot of 4th season episodes, and the characters didn't

Well, the first 3 seasons are great. The 4th is so-so, but watchable. The 5th is also great. So totally agree, go ahead and watch it. :)

But I wanna hear about it nao! :)

Yeah, wait. Who are all the celebrities? I know Zelda Williams, but I'm all old (30) and I don't recognize these newfangled kids. :)

Yeah, that's a little harder. Not much in the way of either on the system, though there's some great "actiony" games, like Mario Kart, or platformers like Donkey Kong and the Mario games. Many action or RPG games have to be found in the indie or Virtual Console sections of the eShop, which isn't ideal.

I suppose the X

Basically, if you bought a ship before November, it probably has lifetime insurance free (LTI). Anything after that is limited time insurance: 3-6 months of game time insurance on your ship. That's described as reasonably cheap to get, and you can set it to auto-renew. Or so they say - this isn't the final design, but

I'll probably launch-day purchase it. I'm a sucker for Zelda stuff - actually picked up Sonic and the Lost World because of the zelda level. It helps that I like how it looks, too.

And that's in addition to the great stuff already out, the indie games, the Virtual Console.... yeah, I'm happy. :)

Oh god, the nightmares are going to be bad tonight.

What are you interested in? I've got a lot of the games already and really enjoy it - more than my XBone or PS4, to be honest.

I've had one since launch, and this is all pretty wonderful news. Not that I was missing games to play before, but these are all super amazing.

Yes, but it's not a LARGE freighter, is what I meant. It's not the MISC Hull D, for example. :)

You're correct in the sense that it's not called "Pay to win". That's because it's not pay to win. :)

Basically: You pay early if you want to start with a bigger ship and if you want to support the game's development. This doesn't get you any real lasting benefit in game. To quote myself from another thread - your

Hooray for missing the point! :)

The best analogy I can come up with is if you paid $5 to start at level 20 in WoW. I mean, sure. You're more powerful that the average player for... what, a week? Then the dedicated players pass you and you've basically just managed to skip an early part of the game.

This is clearly

It is not pay-to-win, and you don't have to pay for everything already in the software.

The way it works now is that you basically "Donate" some real money to the game development, and you get game access and a ship. Which ship you get depends on how much you throw at them. But once the game launches all ships are

It's intentionally supposed to be Firefly-esque. In fact, one of the variants of the ship comes with a coat for your pilot that's for "when you aim to misbehave". :)

It's because the engine on the 300i is the biggest part of the ship - it catches most of the fire, and it's basically the only thing the Vanduul can shoot if they're chasing you. :)
