I was grayed for my last take on this issue.

Is this going to be an echo chamber for those who want to justify voter apathy? Because, more and more, that seems to be the angle Splinter is taking. And, yeah, that’s bad.

Hell, some folks went as far as to cite the voter suppression efforts happening to Native Americans as example of my white privilege, despite the facts that 1) I am not white and 2) I have written about Native-specific issue numerous times since joining Splinter three weeks ago.

He was fired because his manifesto was too public and too explicit, not because the company disagreed with what he wrote. Broadly speaking, Google’s HR practices align fairly close to what he outlined.

The Republican party has never met a black woman they weren’t terrified of politically.

Also walkouts are great ways for managers to note who to cut during the next round of layoffs.  And if you don’t think managers don’t think like that, you probably haven’t been in upper management long.

The appropriate response to hearing about a caravan of desperate people trying to get to the U.S. and apply to asylum was to send a bus to pick them up.

Haha, I’m gay and was raised in the south, I won’t see a cent of what they have. Which is fine, I wouldn’t really want any of it to begin with. Not with the expectations that would be attached.

Lucky enough, I’m queer as a three dollar bill, and having a child would already be a process that would cost me thousands of dollars that I will literally never have. So paying for college isn’t much of a concern. My only surviving relatives are rich, they can pay for their own health concerns.
