Sounds good! That said, I recently picked up the first 3 games in their PS1 iterations and the first one in particular holds up pretty well as a survival horror experience. Sure, the controls are clunky as hell and the graphics and voice acting are hilariously bad. But despite that there's a real tension and sense of

Ahhhhhh. Thanks for clarifying. Not that I mind terribly either way.

The title over on Kotaku UK is different. To be honest, the current title threw me a little: having read the article it's not so much Sonic that went wrong as everything that surrounded him.

I never thought Sonic the hedgehog was a character with…you know, depth until I read the comic excerpts. I'm impressed.

Is TMNT stronger today than it's ever been? I mean, yeah, it's seeing something of a resurgence and the current TV show is actually pretty darn good but I don't think we've returned to the Turtlemania that supposedly dominated the 80s and 90s.

I had high hopes for this film but outside of being pretty as hell it's…not great. Which is a real shame.

Who's Miyamoro?

This argument just comes across as saying "I'm a weak writer who can't envision anything outside of my own experience." People dream up compelling characters who aren't like them all the time.

Perhaps it's because with something like Infinite there's more to grapple with in terms of themes and gameplay time. I don't know much about Gone Home but I'm guessing it's a shorter, more tightly contained experience in comparison.

To be honest, I don't always feel like the first play through or watch through or read through of something is necessarily the best way to get to grips with it. Sometimes later viewings or what have you DO hold up, but going through something like Bioshock again…well, I didn't think it was all that strong on the first

If it's any consolation Burial at Sea Episode 2 feels like a stronger game and a good conclusion to the series as a whole, though the plot can feel a bit too tying-up-loose-ends at times. "You inject plasmids because of this! The Big Daddies use regular drills because of that!" It's a minor niggle, though.

The setting?

What's the best part of working on a TV show like Archer? And who's your favourite character?

That kid in the stripy top is just adorable.

While the cafes have rules about handling the animals in order to make the experience as pleasant as possible, do realize that reptiles are not domesticated or social animals like dogs and probably should not be handled more than thirty minutes a day in order not to cause the creature stress.

Well, that all sounds perfectly reasonable. I salute you, sir!

Yeahhhh... nope. Not cool, man.

Baboo! Nooo!

Well, it started out as a neutral descriptor for people with cerebal palsy, but as time went by it began to mean someone who was stupid or physically inept…at least according to Wikipedia. I think my experience of the word is a bit different, but the negative connotations remain.

Ah, that makes sense. It's a pretty offensive term in the UK: one of our charities even had to change their name over it.
