The world certainly doesn't need a remake with 20-something actresses that's for sure

We hope!

Does the world need a remake of Thelma and Louise, you may wonder.

Maybe they digitally added the shoes and raised the hem.

Oh god that dress is awful! Margot, please get in touch with Cate Blanchett so she can take you shopping.

Also I thought it was strange that when accused of molesting one of his children, he didn't mention anything about how much he cares about his kids and how he would never do something like that...his response is basically just that Mia is crazy.

He keeps responding to Mia, as if Mia is accusing him, as if this is his word against Mia, and as if he could denigrate Mia enough these problems would go away.

Because your gender doesn't cause automatic suspicion of your authenticity in a male-dominated hobby?

Your're not getting equivalent experiences to a woman, is what the issue is.

I am a dude. I dunno why you think anyone arguing that women don't have it the same way as men automatically must be female, but I'm not.

Right. You know from personal experience how women are treated. You, as a man, know that from personal experience.

I don't know why girls get so bent out of shape when this happens to them - especially considering the fact that there are a ton of women out there who claim they're geeks/nerds/gamers/etc. when they're not.

Hurr hurr hurr! I'm a guy so I know what women's life experiences are because I know fucking everything. Mo mommy and all my teachers told me so, that's why women women tell me how they are treated, I correct them. Because I are a man and that makes me smartzz! Hurr hurr hurr.

Actually, as a female gamer, I can tell you on authority that you are a fucking asshole.

There are a lot fewer 'fakes' then you seem to think, dude. The term gets thrown around all the time for women, but hardly EVER for men. Men are assumed to know what they're talking about when it comes to nerdy hobbies. Women, though, are often told they have to prove it. I've seen it time and time again.

Men will argue what level of geekdom they've obtained, while checking women from the club entirely. There's no witch hunt out for fake male gamers either way, which there certainly is with female gamers.

It's a bit disheartening that this is a one-way street. A majority of you will probably see this and think, "That's ridiculous!"... but there's a good portion of our gaming community that has to deal with comments like this OFTEN.

I don't know why girls get so bent out of shape when this happens to them

Men don't have that sort of qualifier though. Women have to clear some sort of bar before they're allowed to call themselves gamers.
