I went to my BF's parent's church a few weekends back. We live in South Carolina and I hate going to their church because it's insanely conservative and anti-woman. Reading was Luke 3:11 "The man who has two tunics is to share with him who has none and he who has food is to do likewise". Sitting there recognizing…

you guys, didnt you know it's like SUPER easy to get into and graduate from Harvard Law?? She didn't have to work hard at all. Haven't you seen Legally Blonde??

Have any of you gone to Greta's blog and seen some of the comments? People are MAD about what she said. I was so excited when I saw what she said. I watch a TON of Fox News unwillingly because I volunteer at the USO and it is always on due to one of the other volunteer's insistence, and she is one of the few I can…
This is my thought exactly. Could a state medical board get involved because the hospital wasn't "upholding the law" if they let her off life support?
re: Secondly, this is Texas. There are undoubtedly many people (Texas Medical Board, I'm looking at you) who are so rabidly anti-abortion/choice that they are going to classify the fetus as alive and thus deserving of life support even if the mother is dead. I've heard rumblings that if the hospital takes a move…
I read somewhere that the hospital is likely doing this because the law is vague enough that they (the hospital) could be open to litigation/lawsuit if they take her off life support. So going to trial may be the quickest way to establish what the letter of the law actually means.
is a normal fetus viable at 22 weeks? ie if the fetus had been gestating in a normal/healthy body would it be viable? Also does anyone know if this hospital has a religious affiliation?
I had a horrible time moving from the nuvaring to the IUD. I finally gave up and had it removed and went back to the nuvaring which was a much better option for me. I am however, curious about the libido thing. My side effects were 100% physical. Insane cramping, bleeding constantly, like gushing when having sex…
oh, also... Elton John played at their wedding!! Elton John!!
Kathryn was 33 when she married him... he was 59. That just seems like a lot to me. Also, allegedly every single one of his wives left him, not the other way around. I don't know why, but that makes me really really happy.
You may consider yourself a Christian, but you do not speak for all of us. You may also want to read your Bible some more, as Jesus was not particularly concerned with homosexuality and really more with the whole love each other, give to the poor, and general good works.
I'm with you. Especially people of younger generations. It's one thing to know that these prejudices exist and people think them, and another thing to see them so blatant and unashamed!!
This kills me, I actually deeply respect John McCain. What happened to him in Vietnam/as a POW and his character throughout the ordeal is incredibly admirable. When he chose her as a running mate though it was like —- game over.
cannot. get. image. out. of. head.
Also, finding a friend to try "new" things always helps. the first time i took a barre class i went with a friend, failed miserably but laughed the whole time. Then i got hooked on pure barre and started going almost every day!
i tried to watch their show once, and i just couldnt. that's saying something because i have incredibly low standards for reality tv. trying sooo hard.
spot on.
