It doesn’t, not really. The ready use of gendered terms (like the use of a woman’s name to denote weakness), and the overall “weakness” thing in general, even in jest speaks to a culture steeped in patriarchical machismo. It’s not super surprising that such a culture would have difficulty integrating women.
